My sweet girl Lucca decided she would leave the jumping into the SUV for the younger fur kid. She still loves to ride tho. We struggled at first, then we got the ramp. She was hesitant at first, but she now uses it (still cautiously). My other fur baby (Lucca's grand daughter so far will have nothing to do with the ramp. She will go under or around it. Maybe later when she reaches grandmother status. I like it. Perfect fit & waay easier that lifting & pushing dogs into the car..
We like this ramp & our Ace has finally gotten the knack for using it. But the surface was not very good at giving him traction he needs. So we luckily had a piece of carpet we attached & now it's fine. I like that it's lightweight & easy to fold & carry with us. Although you need to be sure you have enough room for it.
Was very wobbly and slippery. My 56 pound dog kept sliding backwards. As he grows to 100 pounds not sure he will Use it as he’s already fallen off when halfway up to the car
The quality and sturdiness, is great. It is a bit more narrow than expected and my dogs will not use it for this purpose. I wish it came with some training ideas.
Likely will be returning because it is slippery and narrow. My 90 lb German Shepard is not a fan. I am working with her to see if I can get get her to use it and may need to add some carpeting to it.
Light weight, easily deployed, good grip. Getting your pooch to trust it could be a challenge. Mine is starting to figure it out. Which is good because picking her up is not going to be ideal in a few years.
My dog is 70 lbs and a husky. He is older. He is avoiding using the ramp. We do have an outdoor ramp off of our deck that he uses so we have placed this outside on others sets to see if he will use it. So far, he won't.
My 37 pound husky slides backward when climbing the ramp. Everything else is great about the ramp!
Due to our dogs age Gordy has trouble getting up into the car we usually have to lift him into it this ramp has solved this problem did a practice run to get Gordy comfortable with walking up and down the ramp we used the ramp twice so far it is helping Gordy to navigate getting in and out of the car I recommend for dogs that have difficulty getting in and out of vehicles
It doesn’t lock in place and it’s super slippery so dog can’t even go up it. Waste of money.
