smells like CEDAR

This box smells like cedar. I think it may be Chinese fir AKA Chinese Cedar because it's in the cedar family not the fir family. My husband assembled it before I noticed the strong scent of cedar. I'm really nervous about this. I specifically bought this box because it said fir (not cedar)!
