Cat doesn’t like it
It works alright for getting out tangles and keeping my cat’s coat clean, but he hates the brush so much. Even if I use it very gently, he still seems uncomfortable. I got a different brush and he doesn’t mind grooming time near as much anymore, so I figure this brush was what made him hate it.

Awesome !!!!
Duke my 7 year old BloodHound loves this! He’s never sat so still and relaxed for getting his coat taking care of! He actually will rotate sides for me to comb! The comb is sharp so make sure you don’t press hard and keep the plastic cover over it for safety reasons. I didn’t even put pressure when combing. Just let the comb do the work and go slow.

Got to be careful. Don’t brush too hard, my cats don’t like it.
No cat& mouse games: It works!!!!
It seemed awfully hard & only 1 row of metal “bristols" but my cat was shedding so bad. I tried egg whites in food, my brush, even a comb! U start soft & slow especially near face spine & tail. There’s 2 ways to hold: like regular & once u get any knots or dirt free from fur go over cat with handle facing you and bristols flat to animals body. I never had a better deshedding brush! I get so much hair it looks like a thick mustache & I roll it in a ball & he ends up playing with it for a second. After a thorough brushing you immediately feel & see the difference! Soft shiny silky & yes not so thick with it all over you & furniture! Get animal used to normal brush then do this 1x a week. U will never find a coughed up fur ball AGAIN! Everyone wins. You will all b happy

This item works great. I use it on my shot haired cat and my long haired Maine Coon .
Handle So Comfortable!
Tool well made and great handle, especially for arthritic hands. Tool is advertised as can be used for short haired dogs, but doesn't remove hardly any of my boy's short hair. I've tossed the packaging, so I guess I'll see if I know anyone who can use it for longer haired pets.
Great deshedder tool
This deshedder tool worked great on my German Shepard and my cat.
CAUTION using this brush
Do NOT use this brush on dogs with double coats, like chow chows. It will completely remove their inner coat and we are so sad, hoping it grows back. This brush also left a few scratches on her skin :( Losing one of their coats can really mess up their thermoregulation. She is only left with her top silky coat and is noticeably thinner without her plush underlayer. We know it isn’t a medical condition as she just had complete bloodwork and check ups, etc. the only change in routine was using this brush. We consulted dog coat experts when we noticed our fur baby’s coat ruined, and they immediately asked if we used this type of brush. Dogs are meant to shed their hair/fur naturally in their own time, when they’re meant to. Professional groomers, after this happened, told us that they never use blades like this- and they don’t recommend them at all for this reason. We regret buying this brush for our chow and hope Chewy puts a warning in the description that this brush is NOT to be used on certain dog breeds. As a first time chow owner, I did not know this until it was too late, so I need to warn other chow/double coated dog owners before they make the same mistake.
De shedding tool
Best de shedding tool I’ve found. My cat loves to be brushed but regular brushing wasn’t enough. Found this tool and de shedding him became a breeze. He comes running and starts purring as soon as I pick tool up.
