    Perfect for what I needed

    By on

I have one bantam rooster that needs to be kept separate from the rest of the flock, and the indoor component to his coop is about 3x3 feet. I was concerned, since there is no body heat from other chickens to keep the coop warm, that he would get too cold at nighttime. I was worried this heater would get the space too hot, but it seems to work just perfectly. and there is no risk of him burning himself against the panel, because it doesn't actually get too hot. If you are heating a larger space and you want it to get noticeably warm, you may want to invest in multiple panels.

    Used product

    By on

I needed a heater for my chicken coop as very cold weather was coming. When my package arrived I could see the box had been resealed (not a factory seal) The plastic legs that keep the unit upright, were broken. To make matters worse, this product couldn't melt butter. I will be returning this. I had to go out and buy a heater locally so my chickens wouldn't freeze. I am disappointed to say the least.

    Quality Product

    By on

This heater is an excellent option for keeping your 'not quite inside' pets safe from winter cold. Cord is longer than average heater, making its placement in a shelter convenient. Low wattage use and reasonably priced save money. Highly recommended.

    Perfect coop warmer

    By on

This has been great for my little chicken coop. We’ve had several nights with temperatures in the 20’s and it gave my chickens the warmth they needed without having to keep a heat lamp on overnight

    Disappointed

    By on

The panel does not heat as much as was expected from the advertisements. I would not recommend this product if the purchaser is looking for more heat. At best, it is lukewarm to the touch.

    Perfect for birds

    By on

I rescue roosters. I have 31 boys in 5 bachelor flocks in large barn coops down to converted dog house coops; with hay, pine shavings, cedar shavings & roosts & no roosts. 3 years I've used these in every building and my boys stay warm, safe & healthy with zero risk of fire. Love these things!

    Chicks approved!

    By on

Perfect solution for the chicks transition from inside to outside housing. Funny, their first reaction when they saw the reflective surface was “wow”. I suppose it was that they could see themselves or that it was just something strange, but you could almost imagine them thinking “big screen tv”. I love my chickens, this will be my safe heat source from now on. Many thanks!
