Kennel cough Relief
If you suspect your dog has Kennel cough I recommend buying these. They totally saved me money from avoiding the vet and totally suppressed my dogs cough. Takes about a week to go away. Make sure you keep up with vaccines to avoid this from happening especially is you live near parks/doggie parks.
Use to cough lots
Honey used to cough till she gagged. It was constant and very loud. She has a heart condition as well as collapsed trachea. Dr's feel the heart pushes on the trachea and is the reason she does cough so much. I give her one of these cough tabs and her 1/2 of Trazadone and it works for 12 hrs. The cough has slowed down immensely. Don't get me wrong, she still coughs but not to the extent she used to. She is on heart pills to help the enlargement so this may be another reason it has slowed down.
Didn't work at all!!
I've been to the vet, changed vets & still, persistent dry cough. These are worthless to my 13yr old, 69lb pit. Sad it didn't work!

Minimal help with cough
Our instructions was to administer 1 every 4 hours...the stuff works MAYBE for an hour...and they are right back at coughing.

This is placebo effect at best...
Veterinarian here...the active ingredient for cough suppression in this medication (dextromethorphan) is known to not work in dogs.
Helps with my dogs cough.
This helps with our Toy Yorky's cough. He has a minor collapsed trachea. Those that are leaving this medication 1 star because it didn't work for their dog, should fault the healthcare provider for prescribing this and not the medication.
Didn’t work
Unfortunately this didn’t help my dog. I was hoping it would help with her coughing from her collapsed trachea. Perhaps I wasn’t consistent enough with the pills.
Didnt Work
11 yr Golden newly developed coughing with an undetermined cause. Fully vaccinated. No abnormal bronchial breathing nor kennel cough. Prescribed doxycycline and cough tablet to rule out infectionius causes. These didnt help at all.
