Dog refused, too crunchy to clean

We decided to try a different dental chew to support smaller companies and get better ingredients. The ingredients are amazing, but my ravenous dog, who has done crazy stunts for fish treats, refused it. We finally got her to eat it after 10 minutes of coercing. It has the texture of a biscuit. It is likely that because the texture of this chew is so crunchy, it is no better at cleaning teeth than a piece of jerky or a cookie. It is also incredibly messy, and we had to vacuum the area after we gave one to her. We sadly have to go back to big-box dental treats.

We give these to our dogs daily to help with their dental hygiene. Dogs love them and I love the simple, natural ingredients.
