We came to find out she was born without an butt hole (wont let me use the proper medical word) and was pooping out of her lady parts, needless to say we had a hard time finding food that would work for her, we tried may other soft foods but she had some major issues passing it. We came across Dave's dog food at a local pet store and 1. she loves it, 2 it worked well with her issues. She has since had surgery and has a new butt hole (wont let me use the proper medical word) and is doing well and we are and will continue to feed her this food. Mind you we have 7 other dogs that eat another brand of dry food which is fantastic as well but this is her favorite and again works well with the issues she has. … more

Changed recipe, now she won't eat it

I have been feeding my old dog this particular brand and flavor for quite a time and she previously ate well. Since the change in recipe, swapping in agar-agar for the carrageenan, she has tapered off and it is quite a struggle getting her to eat. Now she is old, 17.5, and picky, so that is part of I am sure. I have noticed a texture change, it now tends to be mushy and sticky. Time to look for a new canned food, I'll buy single cans at the pet store to see if I can find another winner for her. … more

Mostly meat. Molly loves it. Wish the cases could be ordered with mixed selections.

This is a good canned food. Just as good ingredients as much higher priced canned foods. Will buy again.

  • GOOD PRODUCT FOR THE MONEY

My beagle hound mix likes the food and it does not cause stomach distress which is a big benefit to the food. He will gobble it up at times and other times picks at it. I guess it is like the rest of us We like diversity in the food we eat and so i give this brand to him once a day in the evening and he gets another brand in the morning mixed with his dry.

  • Great mixed with dry food!

What's not to like? My dogs all love turkey, and this is the real deal—not chicken and other ingredients, with a little turkey far down the list. Very smooth pâté, so it's easy to mix with the dry food.

Good food, but rather oily. The dogs love it. I like that it is grain free.
