Adult: feed 1 can per 6-8 lbs. of body weight per day. Your cat’s needs may vary from the chart based on age, activity and breed. Feed at room temperature and refrigerate unused portion. Your cat should have access to clean, fresh water at all times.
A gradual transition to new food will avoid stomach issues, so don't change your dog's dishes all at once. Instead, mix the new food with your dog's old food. Throughout a week, gradually decrease the proportion of old food while increasing the proportion of new food.

Luna is a very picky princess with many allergies, the worst of which being chicken. A certain MASSIVE food company suddenly cut all her "safe foods" that we bought and put her on rotation with (again, picky) with chicken without any advance notice - leading to her suddenly throwing up everywhere and getting very sick. We were extremely concerned - she's 16, we can't have her getting violently acutely ill!! But that's when I looked through all the remaining wet food we had and noticed chicken had been added to ALL OF IT across several brands under the Big One. This should be extremely illegal, it's so awful that it's not, there should at least be requirement of formula changes being announced. Immediately upon cessation of the foods that now have chicken in them, she recovered from her GI upset. Extremely unhappy, I combed through the dwindling options of turkey-only protein wet cat food available on here and found this one. Fingers crossed, we ordered it. She immediately tucked in! We had been feeding her gerber turkey baby food in the interim, with taurine added. I was worried she wouldn't be keen on trying wet cat food again but apparently I was worried for no reason. So happy my girl is enjoying this, and 190 kcal per can is a lot! She is tiny and only needs about 200-230 per day total, so combined with the ~115ish in Instinct Limited Turkey dry food that she eats daily regardless, this is great. I hope Dave will make this recipe in the 12oz cans someday too.
My cat has sensitivities to certain foods. After having her on Dave's Cat's Meow beef and beef liver for a while I tried this. Actually, I ordered the dog version (turkey and turkey liver-did not work for him, not the foods fault) and figured she could try the turkey and see if she was sensitive to it since I had her on turkey before but she would throw it up. Turns out she seems to like it really well, looks fine, and her fur has gotten better. I give the turkey in the morning and the beef at night and she seems very pleased with that. At least now she gets two different varieties of flavors. Also, any sign of vomiting I give laxatone. Helps very well.
I have 9 furbabies and a few have multiple allergies. It's difficult finding good quality food that they will and can eat. I had high hopes but no. 1 cat tried it and then walked away, that was it, 1. Sadly, this takes this brand off the potential list. Good ingredients though.
Unsure what happened the last few months, but quality isn’t the same, nor smell. Kitties hardly touch it. Also keep receiving horribly dented leaking cans.
I love the ingredients (so hard to find no chicken) and the quality seems great. However, my four cats did not agree. I tried multiple times to present this one and they ate some of it, but the can was always 75% left behind. Don't let my review sway you, my cats are jerks.
I've been transitioning a 21 cat sanctuary over to a strictly wet food diet and needed a reasonably priced grain free, carrageenan free can food that these cats would actually enjoy eating. 18 out of 21 give it a 2 thumbs up!! I do not feed it to my two senior cats because it is a bit high in Phosphorus for them. So what's up with Miss 21st? She loves chicken and ONLY chicken!! The Dave's chicken is what she eats happily every meal! I do recommend this for those who are needing a high quality, budget friendly food and also for those who need to add different foods to their wet food rotation.
One cat will eat this if he is hungry enough but the other one won't touch it at all.
My cats love this! Even my picky eater gobbled this down. My go-to Fancy Feast sold out so I had to search for cat food free of chicken and come across this brand. I saw many positive reviews on other sites so decided to give it a try. Glad I did!
