I like fish!
By Bobcat on Jul 7, 2020
My name is Bob, and I am a feral cat. The lady who feeds me tells me I am a good boy and how pretty I am. She found this new food for me and it has fish in it. I didn’t know if I would like it, since I’ve never caught a fish before. I love it!! I eat the whole can in one sitting! One day I will let the lady pet me. Maybe.

My borderline CKD cat enjoys it!
By Tomas on Apr 18, 2020
My cat had some bloodwork come back that suggested she needed a lower phosphorus food and this seems to be doing the job. One can is 211 calories, which is right where my vet wants my cat per day. Since that's all in one 5.5oz can, it's nutrient and calorie dense and requires that my smaller cat physically doesn't have to consume a large volume of food. Always check to be sure, but at the time of this review's writing the phosphorus levels are 0.71 on a dry matter basis. She seems to clean her bowl now, but time will tell. It's a pretty moist pate texture. I'll update this review if something changes.

They actually eat this.
By reny on Mar 26, 2020
I have very picky eaters, with multiple health issues to balance. I have 4 cats, and 3 will eat this. Some days they are all about it, other days they will eat some and finish it later. But the fact it gets finished eventually is major for us. I have gotten foods they won't touch at all, so this one worked out. The 4th cat is very tricky, and is on home made food because she mostly gave up on all cat food because of her ckd, but if she takes a few mouthfuls of this it still is relatively safe for her. They day may come they decide they no longer like it (because they do that), but I still consider it a win.

My cats love this flavor and I usually have a hard time finding it in stores. Great price too.

Good food, not a favorite
By Gaye on Dec 4, 2019
The ingredients are good. It looked and smelled like food my cat’s would like. They are into fish right now. The first couple cans went over great, but now they sniff, lick and leave. Try a can.

Picky kitty will eat it
By 11catlady on Aug 1, 2019
This is one of the foods I feed my CKD cat within the window after her meds that I can not use the Phosphorus binder since it is only .71 phosphorus (DMB). Not sure how much more though since it has TriCalcium Phosphate added to it unfortunately, and I do not know if it is included in the total Phosphorus. . The ingredient I hate is the Carreegenan. I really wish they would remove it as other pet food companies have done.

Good stuff, wish it came in bigger cans!
By puzzletoy on Mar 12, 2019 Top 1000 Contributor
11 out of 11 cats enjoy this recipe. It's the favorite even with the two picky cats. We approve as well since it seems to be in the highest caloric range for this line of Dave's wet.
