My dog is very hyper and anxious and prone to skin allergies which is made worse by his sensitivity to scratch & chew even when it is under control w/meds. This spring was very hard on him and he chewed to the point where he was actually bleeding & infection. Nothing relieved his condition and of course my vet was out and a new vet & staff had him better soon. An assistant suggested this spray I was afraid it would trigger his scratching and when I started to spray he started wagging his tail unbelievable!!! He was whining before (even tho I told him pit bulls don't whine) but seriously never had such immediate success with any product and of course Chewy got it to me asap. Believe me try this IT WORKS
We had tried all kinds of over the counter meds for our dogs hot spot. Nothing worked, so did some more research and found this product. It worked in just 24 hrs you could see a difference. Saved us a trip to the Vet!
I tried everything to manage the thick skin, hair loss, etc on my dog. His entire neck area and chest was affected. I initially tried Chlorhexidine 4% SHAMPOO which showed promise BUT it is such a chore to do every few days since my dog is big and does not like to be bathed. Even after bathing with the shampoo, the area began to smell after a few days so I tried this Chlorhexidine SPRAY in between dog washings. I have been using it for over a month and the hair is slowly growing in. I spray him in the morning/afternoon/night. The elephant skin is going away. I'm so happy and he's looking cute again.
My pup had red irritated paws, lots of licking. The irritation went away very quickly after using this product!
gave our small dog some relief with no side effects but we hoped for better results
My dog had a hotspot for about a year that nothing was helping with. Tried this out after reading reviews and have had excellent results so far. Using 3x a day for about a week so far and noticed a change the very next day after starting!
Ordered product at recommendation of our vet. Item(s) arrived quickly, well-packaged and is exactly as described. Product seems to soothe the wound and is keeping area clean. Highly recommend for open wounds and to help prevent infection, if your vet approves for your pet.
Bought it for my dogs scratching and hairloss..did not seem to do anything
The bottle I received with exp date 10/24 and lot/batch# 21285 lists choloroxylenol as an inactive ingredient which is toxic to dogs and cats.
Listed as a “non sting” formula and no alcohol in the ingredients. You can imagine my surprise when I sprayed on my dogs infection and caused him great upset and discomfort. I thought to check the ingredients, and shocked to see ethanol. This was not in the the listing for this product. I have posted both the listing ingredient list and what I was sent. Product I was sent includes alcohol and should not be advertised as “non sting” and the ingredients list needs to be updated. I informed chewy and also this is my second attempt of a review to inform others. Chewy does not want to address this mistake.
