Bought one for each leash
This has been a great product. I originally had a specially designed waist bag that held the waste but couldn't find a poop bag that was thick enough not to smell, which meant the waist bag smelled as well. That led me to search for something different. This product has been wonderful. It says not to tie the bags, but there is no reason not to tie them if you release the air out before you tie, placing the knit just above the waste. I'd hate for any to come out on the inside.
However, it does hold a smell after the bag is removed. I try spraying with Febreeze fabric spray at the end of each day, then letting it air dry. Once a week, I wash it out with soap and water, adding a little bleach or vinegar. To make sure we still have one, I bought another one to rotate out. Now I'm buying a third to keep on the leash we use for car travel. I hate being without this so I'd rather have several than forget that it isn't on the leash when heading out.
Contains the smell great!
I really like this product. I often see people forgetting or leaving their dog poop in a bag on the trails I go on. This is great product to help reduce that. I do think you should tie the bag because sometimes moisture is collected and you end up with poop water in that container. I have a 54 lb dog and at most I can fit 2 poop bags in it.

Holds in the stink!
We walk the trails at our local parks and they are all “carry out” your trash so there isn’t anywhere to toss your dogs poo bags. I was looking for a container to keep my car from stinking up on the way home. When I got this, I was worried it wouldn’t hold my two dogs poop because it didn’t seem big enough but it does! I wear a training pouch around my waist with my dog supplies (bags, treats, hand sanitizer, car keys) in it and I just clip this to it. When they dogs go, pick it up with the bag, twist it closed but don’t tie it (you don’t want excess air taking up space), put it in the tube and snap it shut. When you get home, open it over your outside garbage can and dump it out. This IS when it WILL stink because it has held in that smell the entire time. Then I leave it open and clipped to my hose caddy next to the garage overnight to air out. The next day, I put it back in my car for the next walk. It has been pretty awesome, my car no longer smells on the ride home from the park. Highly recommend!

Great for Hikes
This is such a great little product. I like to hike the trails in my area with my dog, Piett, and a lot of times there is only one garbage can at the beginning and/or end of the trail, so this comes really in handy, until we come to a garbage can. It really holds in the smell of the poop, so you don’t have to smell it the whole time.

Definitely worth it if you like walking your dog places where trash cans aren't readily accessible! Keeps the stench in.

pretty freaking neat
" Works Great" "I use it everyday for my 90 lbs German Shepard. It's very durable and makes walking dog less nasty and stinky".. he ussally goes twice and there is plenty of room for it. I was worried about cleaning but I haven't even got poop on the inside so pretty freaking neat

Love the doodootube! I take it with me everywhere with the pups. I have 2 doggies and it holds both of their “waste” and it doesn’t smell. 100% recommended.

I loved it until I didn’t
I have 2 large dogs and this handy can worked well for 1 poo from each. I was happy until the lid broke. The lid was attached by a hinge and when the hinge broke I had to keep track of the lid and 2 dogs and then I lost the lid. I’m going to try a different product.
