Bouught this thinking my problem would be fixed and no more worries. Cut a piece for each filter & have had them in the for about a week now & still no change.

My Use for the Product is a Freshwater Goldfish Aquarium

    By on

It works great for it's intended purpose. It is very stiff before it is submerged in water.

    Nitrates no more

    By on Top 500 Contributor

Terrible Nitrate problem in my Cichlid Tank, messy eaters and/or overfeeding, causing very high levels that water changes would not help. Changed out Filter Media and within a week it was dropping down, cut back feedings and after the 2nd week it was gone.

    Unique and customizable

I love that these products combine mechanical and chemical filtration. Filter cartridges theoretically do the same thing but I've noticed the chemical media always bunches up inside the floss. With this I know that the chemical media is not being bypassed. Plus its cut-to-fit capability makes it perfect for all my filters! I have about a billion different retail filters in addition to my DIY filters that hold more water than most aquariums.
