Since adding this to my dogs' water bowls I have noticed their breath is much fresher. The vet commented how their teeth are looking cleaner since their last dental appt as well. This is the only water additive I've found that truly is odorless & tasteless so my picky dogs will drink it in their water like there's nothing added. It's also the best price. I definitely recommend this product.
I've been ordering this dental rinse for my pets quite a while now, and it really helps keeping their breath and teeth fresh and clean. It's really best to start using a dental treatment early to prevent issues or problems in the future. Not every dog will allow their parents to brush their teeth so this rinse will help. I use this rinse with dental chews and lots of biscuits for my pets.
We just started adding Dental Fresh to Buddy's water so we haven't really noticed a difference yet. The good news is that he is drinking his water as he was previously, so he must still like his water! More to come as time goes on, we're hoping for the best!
My baby will not drink this product, she goes up to the bowl sniffs it shakes her head and walks away. I have had three other dogs try this product, and none of them will even touch the water at all.
my dog Benny is a 9year old rescue I got 1 1/2 years ago. His teeth were covered in a greyish coating and his breath was very bad. The vet said he needed a cleaning . I tried Dental Fresh and in about 4 weeks his teeth were clean and breath was great, no vet bill.. I add it to his water everyday.
This product actually made my dogs breath smell terrible and caused a large amount of build up on his teeth. He never had a problem with bad breath or build up but this additive gave him these problems. You’re probably thinking why would I give it to him in the first place but I read that this was a teeth whitening additive. I would not recommend this for any pet owner and instead would like to let the public know that dental treats would probably be more helpful than this.
This product works Great my dogs teeth had black tartar half way down her teeth. The 32 oz bottle putting 1 tablespoons in her 32 oz bowl has dissolved it to the point its almost gone, it was unbelievable and was recommended to me by my vet. Just ordered another bottle.
Love this water additive that helps with fresher breath and cleaner teeth. Both our pups just lap it up.
My 16 lb Chihuahua/Dachsund mix began drinking his water with this additive (1 t. per 8 oz. water) and after about two weeks I began to notice he had to urinate more times than is usual. This became an issue at night--every 2-3 hours I had to let him outside, disrupting sleep in a major way for both of us. Since his vet checkup indicated no major health problems, I began to suspect it was the additive. I stopped using it and after after 4 days, things went back to normal. Use a toothbrush seems to be the safest treatment--at least for a small dog.
This water additive has no smell or taste so there is no problem with my dogs not wanting to drink their water. It seems to be working because my vet always says they have the teeth of a one year old. They are 7 and 9.
