They’re just okay.
I’ve tried many dental treats for my Shiba. I’ve bought Dentalife the most often because it’s the treat that causes the least disruption to my Shiba’s digestion. He does like them; I just don’t think they’re very effective. His teeth aren’t very clean, even though I feed him these consistently after his dinner. I think the texture might be too soft for his sharp teeth, because he finishes these quickly. Perhaps a less powerful chewer would benefit more. I recommend these, with hesitation, based off of questionable results.
Gus loves these!
Our rescue dog, Gus loves these! Every morning after his breakfast he runs to the pantry door. He knows his treats are in a basket in the floor. I pull out the bag and I can’t open it fast enough! Great product and his breath is so fresh!
Impressed!
I’ve been giving once a day this dental treat to my dog. It’s been about two weeks now and I’ve noticed that his teeth look much whiter! He seems to like how they taste too. Would be buying again.
Meh, not long lasting
My pup goes through one of these in a few minutes. I didn’t notice any change in her breath either, and it’s so high in calories that I wouldn’t feed this everyday either. Won’t be repurchasing.
Dental Chews
DentaLife dental chews seem to last longer and clean better than other brands I've tried. The pups seem to enjoy them better as well. They refresh the pups breath and clean their teeth better as well.
Great for stinky breath.
I purchased these in desperation over my Chihuahua's breath. It was terrible. In a week, I noticed a difference. No more stinky face kisses. I do have to cut them in half for her because they are too big. I ordered the smallest available. I do wish they made a smaller one, but cutting is working. I give a whole one to my Basenji/Beagle mix. He loves them.
ANOTHER WIN
I don't think this lasted 5 minutes after our girl received it. She was so excited and happy. Highly recommend.
Caution- Diarrhea
This product caused Diarrhea in my dog , dog has never had diarrhea and this caused it immediately. Thankfully I work in vet medicine and was able to get him medication and probiotic quickly to get his gut back on track. I knew trying this was risky as it is a lower quality chew but decided to give it a whirl. due to lower cost and it being a purina product. Be aware this chew can cause severe diarrhea in some dogs.
THE WORST
I’d give 0 stars if I could, made one dog puke & the other poop BLOOD like what?!? Wish I was over exaggerating

Each of our three dogs get one of these every day, and their teeth look great. They run to their crate because they love them.
