To keep him dry and comfortable, the nylon outer shell is waterproof, breathable and rip-resistant; the breathable 210T taffeta poly/nylon lining with no back seam means even more waterproof protection. Double front buckles and adjustable, replaceable, elastic leg straps help keep the blanket snugly in place.

Bought for my thoroughbred

I got the 78” purple one for my thoroughbred mare who is 16.1. It held up GREAT during the Minnesota winter last year and kept her SO warm and dry. Not a single tear and she wore it in the turn out time many many times. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it gaps a bit at her shoulders, she has high withers so I don’t really blame the blanket, but it fits everywhere else perfectly. If you have a thoroughbred it works but doesn’t fit like a glove, more so shaped for a quarter horse.

This blanket was beautiful, it fit perfectly, my horse loved it. His friends didn’t. Would not recommend if your horse likes to play.

The blanket itself is a nice material but all the stitching is very weak. The first time my horse wore it, the velcro at the chest ripped off, and the third time he wore it the whole chest buckle came off.

Excellent delivery as always from Chewy, nice rug fits our thoroughbred nicely maybe a bit tight for our warm blood. Cozy and not too heavy to wear or lift when its wet. Dries quickly.

I bought this for my mare hoping it would last as the price was decent. It has not held up at all, and definitely not rip resistant as the blanket has huge rips in it from my mare. I wouldn’t buy this blanket again

Horse blanket disappointment !

It looks great. Fits well. I bought it October 2018, and it has already gotten torn on the inside were the lining is. I am so disappointed in this product. I paid a lot of money for it and trusted that it would keep my horse warm in these winter months. I would like to get a new one I have pictures of it I could post:(
