Continue to Canada siteDermAllay Oatmeal Shampoo for Dogs, Cats & Horses is a general purpose oatmeal shampoo that soothes the skin as it cleans. Not only does it moisturize and condition, but it also helps relieve itchiness and restores damaged skin. The active ingredient in this therapeutic shampoo is a ceramide complex that helps rebuild and maintain a strong, healthy skin barrier. This is important for preventing water loss that leads to dry skin and also for protecting against allergens.

My dog has developed a post-grooming a syndrome that the vet suspects is due to my dog’s new shampoo. The vet says that the batch we received may have been contaminated and not to use it again.
My vet recommended this product for me to try on Aspen, a Cockapoo rescue I adopted a month ago. I also bought the oatmeal cream rinse and spray. They all have been beneficial in reducing Aspen's skin sensitivity with about 75-80% improvement. I have only used these products for a couple of weeks, which have been tremendously helpful.
I’ve used this DermAllay product on my Yorkie for 2 years. It really soothes her skin during allergy flare ups & makes her coat so silky! I won’t use anything else. Highly recommend!
This works well to heal dry skin on my older dog’s back. It was so dry the Hair was breaking off. It has a pleasant smell.
Again, I have purchased this item. Great stuff and would recommend it anyone with a pet needing some skin care. Smells very nice, but more importantly, the oatmeal works.
Nice product. Pleasant smell and left coat smooth and shiny.
I've been using this product for years purchased from my vet. This is sure cheaper than that. This is a great shampoo for skin problems.
Worked well on elderly cat Used o. Dogs too washed out easily
Purchased this one at the request of our old vet. Unfortunately this shampoo had very little affect on my dogs skin allergy improvement. We used 2xs/week and applied as directed on bottle head to tail, for 15 minutes then rinse. It has a very pleasant smell and left his coat clean and shiny but did little else for his needs. Our new vet recommended MALASEB (yes, Chewy carries it but it is a prescription shampoo & will need to coordinate with your vet) which for us, was the game changer. If your looking for a shampoo to keep mild symptoms at bay, it's fine but if you need to stop itching and control severe inflammation then I recommend you look elsewhere. It's a nice shampoo for the correct application.
Have been using this shampoo for 5 plus years now. It is the only shampoo we use weekly that keeps our boxers allergies at bay and allows her to stay comfortable and smell wonderful as an added bonus! Love the Dechra line! This one is a tried and true for us! We even use it on our horses and LOVE the results. Allergy prone boxer photo included surrounded by all the things she is allergic to! Lol
