    Perfect training pouch

By Tamamama on Oct 9, 2019

Great buy if you are looking for a treat pouch for cat training. My kittens are sneaky and act crazy around food but they cannot steal anything out of this amazing pouch. I dropped the pouch once and none of the tiny treats fall out. It is well designed and well made. Highly recommend!

Could Work for Others But Didn't Work for Me

My mom and I tried an experiment with these pouches for our guide dogs since we saw this pouch could be placed in the dishwasher. We clip a treat pouch to a strap we wear around our waist. We clip a treat pouch to a strap we wear around our waist. After a day, I went back to my old pouch. My mom gave up on the pouch after 2 days. It's not because this is a horrible product, but it simply didn't work for me. Because it was clipped to a strap, the pouch would tip and leak kibbles out of the t op (My dog LOVED that!). I tried to put a baggy inside the pouch to prevent leakage, but it was hard to access food then. It also easily came off the strap when bumped, and it would land on the floor leaking kibble (My dog loved that even more!). I had a tendency to bump the pouch against things I didn't bump my old, smaller pouch against. For people who have a belt or something sturdy/secure to clip the pouch to for walks or training exercises, the pouch would be great since it's durable and the kibble is easily accessible. For a person who has to wear the pouch all day every day, a different kind of pouch would be more ideal. Before purchasing, really think about how you need to make sure this kind of pouch will work with what you're doing and how long you're using it each day. … more

    Good for most treats.

I have been trying out ways to keep small liver treats moist and in tact during training over a longer period of time. This worked well, dogs could smell them a bit easy, but that kept their focus even when treats weren't in hand. Would work better with smaller hands. The "buttons" on the hard belt clip that go in the silicone keep popping off on the outer most points, thinking of trying a lil gorilla glue to keep them from coming off. My hands are a bit big for a chick, or else they likely wouldn't pop out.

Works well but could be stiffer to stay closed better.

Nice size, simple and light but not for long walks or hikes

I got this pouch as an alternative to the traditional heavier treat pouch that clips around your waist. This one just clips to your belt and it's much lighter than the other one's out there. It's great for training sessions and very easy to access the treats quickly but if you take it with you for a jog or long walk where you find your self bending over a lot (picking up poop, patting your dog, etc) or running with your dog a bit, the pouch looses treats pretty easily as it doesn't really close and the clips pops off pretty easily too. I had to pick up off the ground a few times over the past week. Flimsy

    By on

It doesn't have a seal. It is just silicone so you can't leave soft treats in it and if you bend over the treats may fall out.

    The clip is lame

Great idea but this clip slips off everything I put it on. Whatever were they thinking?
