I really like that the legs have rubberized feet, to help keep it from sliding around on the floor; also that they're foldable for easy storage if I decide not to use it for awhile. There's also a little thumb notch built into the rim, to make it easy to get the bowl out, and the size of the opening is just about perfect for the widest of my cat bowls. The only reasons for 4 stars instead of 5 are (1) I'm withholding judgment to see how durable it is (although my dainty-eating cat doesn't really tax it that much; a dog would be a better test of that), and because my bowls slide around in the opening because there's no friction between the plastic rim of the stand and the slick outer surfaces of my bowls. Although, to be fair, that's more my fault than the unit's, because I'm using it "off-label," so to speak. So take my 4 stars as a 5 with a personal caveat. (also, I don't know why the program turned my photo sideways; it wasn't that way when I took it!) … more

I bought several of these bowls both single and double because they are elevated and nice looking. However after using them for a while, I noticed dark spots on one that held water rather than dry food which I also used them for. I then checked the second that I used for water, found more spots and I bought several of these bowls both single and double because they are elevated and nice looking. However after using them for a while, I noticed dark spots on one that held water rather than dry food which I also used them for. I then checked the second that I used for water, found more spots and upon close inspection, it appears as if a mold or fungus has settled into the rubber! I tried everything to remove the dark spots to no avail. I have called Chewy and this issue was handled. I feel it necessary to post photos and warn other pet parents as this appears to be a flaw in this product. The bowls that held dry food did not develop the marks but I no longer trust these bowls and will be replacing all. … more

higher food dish
By Bendgirl on May 14, 2020
Both kitties seem to do well with it. They had no problem going right to it. It also keeps more food in the dish, rather then falling out.

I bought this for my cat who is short and over weight. She was having a hard time keeping her food down, since using this elevated bowl, she's eating much better and keeping her food down better

Easy to clean and great raised bowl for short dogs
By Fishgirl412 on Mar 16, 2020
Love the colors and materials. Frame is hard plastic and bowl is a rubber that flexes to make bowl smaller or larger. Rubber on feet keeps it from sliding on slick floors. Legs and bowl fold flat for travel or storage.

Elevated bowl holder
By JustJet on Mar 13, 2020
This elevated bowl is great. The removable bowl insert allows me to put Jet's usual bowl in the opening so he is familiar. Not sure if it is helping with his vomiting issue but time should tell if it does. I like that the legs collapse for storage.

The best dog bowls ever
By Cheri on Feb 26, 2020
I have tried them all have older tiny dogs who can’t bend without choking. These bowls and stands are the best ever. I don’t use the dishwasher. I think it would ruin them. Yes it won’t kill you to wash by hand. Besides dog food makes people dishes smell like dog food.

Clever design
By Dana on Jan 26, 2020
This design solves my problem with my dog pushing his bowl all over the floor trying to get his food out of it. The stand keeps it from moving around. And his bowl fits in the stand perfectly! The bowl that comes with it is a little too deep for my Norwich, but probably works perfectly for a bigger dog. It is a plus that it folds up for traveling and storage.
