not 40lbs?
I was buying this brand for months. I have three dogs and in the beginning one bag would last for the month. The last three months or so the bags weren’t lasting longer than 3 weeks, which resulted in me having to go to the store buy a different brand. Each month it seemed like the food wasn’t lasting even three weeks, because I would buy another bag of food, finish out the other food, starting giving them the new bag and it still wouldn’t make it the whole month. So I switched brands completely bought another 40 pound bag, which I started the day I got the bag, in a few days it will be a month, and my dogs still have at least another week of food left over. *dogs are fed a specific amount so it doesn’t fluctuate *food is enclosed in a container so they can’t access it at all *kibble is the same size as new brand The other thing I noticed is as soon as I stopped feeding this to my dogs the horrendous farts stopped happening too.
My subscription
Unfortunately, the normal dog food that I order every 6 to 8 weeks wasn’t available. I called customer service to see what I could do in order to get my dog some food. The lady on the other end of the line was so helpful in getting me what I needed for my dog. it was nice because she listened to every need of Belle. She definitely made the experience extremely wonderful.
More expensive but my dog doesn't like it...
They were out of the salmon recipe so I opted for the higher priced/rating option.. Extreme Althlete formula seemed to fit since I have a boxer. Unfortunately, she will not eat this unless it has loads of other stuff mixed in.. Funny, cause she loves the salmon recipe :9
Great Food, Terrible Delivery
My dogs love the food, but I did order two bags and one bag arrived ripped open and I threw it away!

It gave my dogs terrible diarrhea. The only reason I bought it was because the chewy consultant recommended it. They were out of my normal kind.

Great quality food that my dog loves.
Great for active and growing German shepherd.
I like this food. I hope my dog likes it too but she cannot talk, she happily eats it however. She only eats until she is full due to the high protein content. Most dog food protein content is <30% which I find unacceptable. I like that rice is one of the main ingredients. German shepherds are known for sensitive tummies and the rice has helped her keep firm stools. Took a while to find the right dog food but I highly recommend this if you have a 50 lbs or larger dog.
Good but Gassy
Initially my almost one year old bernedoodle loved this. About two weeks in I noticed it's been giving him lots of gas, he's very thirsty all the time, and even regurgitating his food sometimes. I'm trying to use up the bag but he barely touches it-going to have to find something else. He's not usually picky so I'm not sure what the problem is with this. It seemed like a good choice, dairy free, pea free, etc...have to keep looking though.
