This has always been a good brand of dog food but my last order the food smelled like to was sour. My dogs quit eating it and they always have loved it. I checked to see if something was wrong because they would eat it and the smell was very unpleasant.

We opted to setup auto-ship of this brand for the next several months, as a safer and more value conscious option instead of going in the stores right now... our three adult pups love it. We use it as a base and add rice, meat and veg a we prefer. They also like it right out if the bag and compares well to Blue and Nutro which we also rotate between.

Our 3 dogs have been eating this for a very long time. I will say that we have had issues with different batches, like too salty for example. In my opinion, just like cooking our human dinners, not one recipe comes out exactly every time. I will continue to purchase without hesitation

With two picky eaters I was looking for one product they would both eat, and succeeded! Diamond Naturals has excellent healthy ingredients at a decent price!

We switched from Wellness Grain Free Large Breed at $64 for 24lbs to this Diamond Naturals Large Breed at 40lbs for $36. I was stoked to find such a highly rated (doogfoodadvisor) dog food at nearly half the cost, for nearly double the product. I ordered without hesitation. This is day one — so my review is limited to my first impression. My Great Danes were so interested in this Chewy box. They hovered as I opened it. I like the dime size kibble. I started mixing the new with the old kibble to acclimate them to this new feed and I had two very pushy Danes begging to get into this bag. I experimented by putting a handful of each in front of them to see which they went for. Great products and prices. Our dogs love the toys and the quality of the food. Also great service and delivery time.

We have fed Diamond Naturals to our pack of 4 for a couple years and have been happy with it. We recently moved our 2 aging mastiffs over to this formula, while keeping the younger pup and yorkie on all life stages. They love it and adjusted easily. It's tough to beat the combination of options, prices, and consistent quality of this line of foods. Very much recommended.

This time I ordered the food, both of my dogs got repeatedly sick after eating it...

I like the size of the kibbles, it looks like a little bit bigger portion in the bowl, hoping that my eager eater thinks it IS a bigger portion. The food is a good quality for a very good price. I can’t tell how palatable it would be for picky dogs because my pit/mix definitely isn’t. I didn’t give it five stars because they don’t have this food in smaller bags. I would prefer 30 pound bag for freshness after opening it. And 30 pound would fit in my container.

My frenchy loves this food and we are going to use it for our new English Mastiff puppy. Great protein percentage as is the calcium. Too much for an English is not good. I hope he likes it as much as the frenchy does!
