When transitioning your pet to a new food, we recommend a gradual introduction of the new formula over a 7 day period. For pets with sensitivities, extend the transition period to 10 to 14 days. Start by adding a small amount of your pet’s new food to his or her current food. Gradually, increase the new food amount and decrease the current food amount at each feeding until you are feeding only the new food.
I'm happy I get my dog food from you guys the only thing I wasn't happy about is they left my puppy food on the edge of the steps instead of bringing it all the way on the porch so anybody could have took it for one and the other thing it was raining outside that day so my dog food got soaking wet other than that I'm happy with your service
Oy Vey!! What the heck?? My puppy was adopted 5 months old and came with full of this food. I ordered more from Chewy and my pup has had loose and painful stools for months/weeks! I took him to the emergency vet. We stopped this food immediately and began him on a bland diet of chicken and rice only. Come to find out my pup has an allergy to chicken! What is the main ingredient of Diamond? Chicken by-product! I only wished we as fur parents caught it sooner! Don't recommend.
We have four dogs and we feed all of them diamond puppy, we will never feed another dog food to our dogs than diamond puppy. And here is why my wife and I sat down and TSC and went through each and every dog food brand they had and checked the amount of protein percentage. Diamond Puppy blew every one of them away including the very expensive and name brand out of range purchase type dog foods. So yeah good good dog food.
My puppy loves this food an it’s high in protein so that a plus ! Vet said there isn’t anything wrong with this food but be warned to slowly introduce them to this food or they will get diarrhea ! Know what your puppy eats before you adopt so you can slowly introduce them to it. My puppy hasn’t had any issues with his stoles he loves it .
I have an older Great Pyrenees and it is hard to keep weight on him. My vet recommended puppy food. I fed Diamond Large Breed and switched to this. My dog eats every single piece which he has never done with any other brand food....
We just got a puppy CKCS and the breeder was feeding the litter Diamond puppy. Diamond appears to be a high quality puppy food.
My Dachshund came from the breeder using this dog food. Horrible food. It upset her stomach. I tried a bland diet and slowing reintroducing it since I already spent so much on the bag. When our vet found out it was Diamond he immediately made me switch to Pro Plan. Changing from this solved everything.
I was just finishing my old bag of this food (purchased locally) and switched to this new bag and my puppy was not eating it right and had loose stool. I keep a small bag of food as a reserve and switched him back and he was fine. I decided to try the new bag one more time since he could have just eaten something outside and it was the same exact thing again. Chewy refunded the $ and I purchased locally and have had no problems since. The feeling was confirmed after my breeder texted me that she had the same thing with a bag she just got 2 weeks later from chewy. (since I text her for advice about it originally)
using this puppy food for an emaciated 2 year old foster dog. Feeding this along with some canned puppy food to help him gain weight. Numerous small meals per day and this food has not upset his tummy.
This is good food but the bight need to be bigger for the puppys end up choking on them
