Cute but handle loop not secure

This is a darling leash but not secure enough for my 15-lb Mountain Feist. The loop on the handle is only melted/glued together. There is no stitching for extra security. The place where the loop is glued easily started to come apart. Probably fine for a tiny dog, say 5-10 lbs.
