Taking too long to get test results

We are still waiting , going on four weeks now, to get the test results we need for our daschund , who is contantly scratching every day, we were not aware that this type of testing requires a very long time to get test results and we are waiting ............. Suggest that you consider another alternative so you don't have to wait so long, the testing kit goes to CANADA and I think that is a large part of the problem

Saving My Sanity

So thankful I decided to follow my instincts and ordered the allergy test. My 6+ old dog developed severe food sensitivities after I switched her to one of the most recommended fresh foods. Making a connection to these new problems, I ordered the food sensitivity test. Anxiously waited for about three weeks (so worthwhile) to get my detailed report. Confirmed her issues were connected to the new food. Now I know what to feed her and she is back on track to no diarrhea and skin issues.

Answer to all my prayers

My dog was in terrible Health until taking this allergy panel. Once I got the results I was able to tailor my dog's diet to his needs. His skin cleared up, his eyes cleared up, he is walking better, is not in pain and is like a new dog. Thank you!

Results seem accurate

Took exactly three weeks to get the report as promised. We are doing an elimination diet with our dog and using this as a starting off point. We did do an environmental allergy blood test via the vet, who said the food testing was not accurate. The blood test revealed no environmental allergy and neither did this test, so that checks out.

not for small dogs

The test stick is begged than nothing my dogs’ mouths. Can’t get a sample to save my life. I have an 11.5lb dog and a 14.5lb dog. If your dog is this size or smaller, these won’t work for you.

A Total Lifesaver

A little back story, we adopted our dog Max last year. When we adopted him he was on a chicken diet and everything seemed to be fine. Sometime during the summer we had given him Blue Buffalo Backyard BBQ as a special meal and something in it made him scratch himself till he bled through his coat. So we stayed away from beef. In December he got his Rabies Vaccine Booster and ever since then he has been a little off kilter. He started to always itch himself after eating his chicken kibble so we switched his food to turkey and shortly thereafter we were back to the itching like crazy. We asked our vet and of course they wanted to do a $500 allergy test. I knew there had to be other options. Now to the test, we did the test to finally figure out what was going on and hopefully help with these allergies that weren't being controlled with Benadryl. It took 3-4 weeks to get the results and when we got them we were completely shocked at the results. He has a high intolerance to olive oil and rosemary, he has a mild intolerance to chicken, turkey, halibut, corn, salmon, wheat and mold. So first off finding food without rosemary extract is nearly impossible but I did find a limited ingredient made by Merrick that did the trick. Also so many foods have wheat or buy products of another protein it's just crazy. Well the good news is Max is adjusting to his new food quite well, no more itchy episodes and his licking has cut down substantially. Thank you too Allergy Test My Pet. This is an affordable, accurate test and I highly recommend to anyone who has a dog who is constantly scratching and itching, it really was a life-saver. Don't let your veterinarian talk you out of it, it really does work.

My poor dog would have been itchy forever without this test

This helped me find out my dog is allergic to Rosemary and rosemary is used in almost all dog foods. My poor girl would have lived her days with itchy shin a licking her paws raw if it wasn't for this test. Highly recommend if you can't figure out what your pup is allergic to.

Confirmed chicken allergy!

I received this from Pupfluence and had heard from my dog’s behaviourist trainer that a few of her clients also used this test and helped their dogs greatly. Previously I did an elimination diet when Charlie got his first ear infection. It was a long and painful process but I came to the conclusion that he was allergic to chicken and sensitive to beef. His test came back as red for chicken. Yet he had no sensitivities to beef showing. So I may try to reintroduce beef to see if that rings true. Also I found out he is sensitive to cabbage which is in his green juju veggie mix. So I will stop giving him that for the time being.

Would recommend !

We received this allergy test through Pupfluence. I’ve always wondered whether Gus would have any allergies. Making sure Gus lives a happy, healthy and long life is of utmost importance to us. The test was easy to do. It came with a bubble mailer as well to ship back. Looking forward to getting the results so we can take the absolute best care of Gus !

So excited

Received product very quickly , easy to do with easy instructions and should only take two - three.weeks to get results. Excited to finally see what Coco is allergic to! We want Coco to live a happy and healthy life. Knowing what she is allergic to should help with that.
