My cat loves this
I have a cat who started to lose interest in eating after she was sick. I got her this to entice her to eat and it worked! (Along with some anti nausea meds from the vet.) Even though she’s not having trouble eating anymore, she now only eats her dry food from her mouse. I don’t hide it, I always put it in the same spot. I use a pointy teaspoon to fill it twice a day. I trade off between two so I can wash them regularly. If you have a cat that is playful and enjoys hunting, I’d highly recommend this!
Great treat toy
I bought this for my tripawd who likes to play with my shoes & is a chonker. She is very food driven. She loves this toy & leaves my shoes alone. Plus she can play with it lying down, which is easier for her.
My 4 Cats Love These!
My cats are very invested in these Mice, and because I only got two to start, the four of them quarrel & steal when I put the two mice down, lol! I’m getting more ASAP!

I'm not so certain why this product has got such a low overall rating... I got this for one of my more active cats. She's really hard to satisfy, even with a LOT of playtime. She gets bored really easily. This mouse has been a great find for us. It keeps her occupied, it works her mind and her perseverance level. She gets very excited anytime she sees it coming out! Love it!
Can’t be without these
I have one guy who struggles with food anxiety and tends to gain weight easily. I hide these around the house at night for him to hunt with his dry food in it. He no longer freaks out and pesters me when it’s wet food meal times. He actually has access to slightly more food in a day but is now maintaining a healthy weight and so much less neurotic! I think the key is the size of the kibble for these to dispense well.
Something to do!
Finally, a cat version of the dog treat toys that have been around forever. My old cat "makes the rounds" starting in morning, looking for 'Mousey'. He's not really food motivated, but likes to find this. Especially recommend Origen freeze dried treats, he clears those out immediately. Or I use Wilderness grain-free, mainly because the small size. 6 treats in per day, I don't understand how reviewers can't get the treats out unless they're trying milk-bones? Took vocal encouragement when he first found it, somewhat confused. He had it figured out in a few days. I don't like the huge slick logo, less surface area for claws to hook onto. So it ends up upside down with treats still in it when on hard surfaces. It does help fulfill the hunt and 'roam the perimeter' instincts for my indoor cat in a 1 bedroom apartment!
Very popular
Both my dog and cat love this toy with treats inside. You can adjust the size of the opening to accommodate treats and change the level of difficulty. You can use these mice as a means of feeding your cat, but I feed mine separately. I give him primarily wet food (30% more liquid in his diet) and some dry.
Confused Cats
This didn't work well for my cats. Eating out of the skin was a marginal success for them. When I placed inside the toy feeder, they sniffed it and walked away. My youngest is tenacious at almost everything but not at this. Oh well. I guess my cats are either lazy or dumb or both.
Didn't last a week
I wanted something to keep my active kittens busy & am extremely disappointed with the quality. The plastic decal is already peeling off, glad I got to it before the kittens did.
Will Not Open
The older version of these worked quite well with my cats but the new version's body is impossible to open to fill with treats and clean. I got six of these and they're completely useless because they might as well be welded shut.
