    Takes Patience

When we first started training Tooey on this, he was definitely a member of r/wewantbowls. It took 2 or 3 days on the training feeder for him to really understand it. It took us putting his food directly in the cloth of the mouse with no plastic liner for a day for him to get the appeal. We have learned to leave the mice outside of the bedroom at night because he enjoys them so loudly haha. It takes some time, but definitely worth him not having the digestive issues he had before. Odd item, maybe I should have read more first

By RisaAndFacil on Nov 6, 2021

This is just an odd item to me. The smallest setting on the opening hole is too big to not have all the kibble fall out immediately. The cover had a tear when it arrived. Cats had zero interest, although they've like other feeders.

    Soothes my frustrated hunter

My kitty was an outdoor rescue who was used to providing her own meals. This toy is a great outlet for that energy. Our toes and the dogs appreciate the relief just as much as she does!!

yeah so? I don't care what you put in there. I don't care. It's a clunker.

    My cats love these mice.

    By on

My husband and I were having issues with our cats crying around 4am. They wake up, and crave hunting and playtime. We leave these mice out before bed, and although they nibble on the food immediately, we really hear them playing and eating in those early morning hours. It helps us get some peace because they have something to do when the hunting instinct kicks in. It does take time to train them though. We followed the instructions, and started them on the easiest setting. Now they easily manipulate the food out of the hole on the hardest setting. Winston particular loves the play experience.

Nice idea for a different sized food or treat

    By on

This product is well made and very attractive looking. Unfortunately, the adjustment for the opening goes from too small to too large for the size of food that my cat eats. So if the opening is large enough to get anything out, it all comes out too easily. The round food ball works better for her size food (Royal Canin Satiety).

    Doc and Phoebe’s Cat Co

    By on

My cat was not interested in trying to get treats out of the plastic container and the outer part didn’t do anything for her with or without the blue container. I was about to save the plastic treat holder to see if she might be interested later and just throw out the outer part, but then had an idea to fill it with lentils and catnip, sew it up, and then use it to slide along the floor. Now she loves chasing it! Not so much the plastic inner part yet! I wouldn’t really recommend.

    So not interesting

My cat has no interest in this toy. It is not easy for her to open. Save your money.

    My cat loves this toy!

I place half of my cat's food in this toy. It's literally the only thing she will play with and it gives her some exercise as well!
