    Gray tar looking runs

    By on

Obviously the dogs loved it. But it didn't love any of them. It affected all 5 furrbabies so badly that the vet said to take them off of it immediately. I got high protein to help my female gain a little weight but instead all of my dogs had to make a trip to the vet.

    Very satisfied

    By on

My vet wanted my dog on a high protein diet and this food has a higher percentage of protein than most. My dog adores it. I have tried the beef and chicken, and my dog likes both, but I feel the chicken is better for her.

    my dog eats it

    By on

My dog is a picky eater and he at least tries it, but not enthusiastically at all. He looks a little forced when eating it and always leaves left overs

    More Gravy Than Meat Lately

    By on

I've liked this product since it was introduced. But lately, it's been more gravy than meat in each can. I am very disappointed.

    Canned Dog Food

    By on

I feed my terrier a mixture of dry and wet food. We received a free trial of a can of Dog Chow High Protein Chicken Classic Ground Canned Food. First of all, the can was well packed. I had to divide it in three parts to mix in with his dry food for 3 days. It was a pleasant surprise to have so much! As for my dog, he ate it faster than usual. We’re waiting for him to finish his current canned food so we can make a run for a couple of these. Sidenote: I had to label the extra as “dog food” in my fridge so my family would think it was cooked ground beef.

    Good concept, bad taste

    By on

I bought a few cans for my dogs to try, they really do not care for it at all. I think it’s the gravy they don’t like. I like the concept of a higher protein canned food for them at an affordable price, but not if they don’t like it.
