I understand that the new dog gone mats have a rubber backing to prevent slippage. Is the rubber backing safe for hardwood floors? (Not all rubber backing is hardwood floor friendly)....

This product is safe for use on all flooring.
Does this rug remain flat on a hardwood floor? I have arthritis in my knees and need something that I won't slip on. My new GSD service dog will be arriving soon here in often wet Seattle, so appreciate a quick answer. Thank You!!

This doormat will remain flat on hardwood floor. It also has a non-skid backing to prevent it from skidding or moving.
Can you leave this outside, like on a deck?

BEST DOORMAT EVER

This doormat has the non skid backing and is made so well. The quality is great and the size is perfect for the entrance of our home. I love this mat so much I have one for every door coming in from the outside is various sizes and the color is perfect.

FANTASTIC!

I have four 3 month old puppies, and my yard is mostly a mud pit. I needed something to help get much of their paws clean while coming in the house. It helps so much, no idea why it has 1 stars bu some. I bought a second one because I loved this so much and the first one cleaned well. my only thing is do not hang dry, tumble dry low. It is still a bit soggy after the wash. But cleans well, and held up good. So thankful for not having a muddy path in my home anymore.

Cushy large mat

Beautiful mat that provides a soft surface for my pug to provide stability. He doesn't slip and fall which gives him confidence in walking on it.

Great runner rug for anyone with a yard and muddy dogs

I was cautious, because this seemed rather expensive for a rug to place by the patio door leading to my yard. But I LOVE it. My new adult rescue dog actually likes it so much that she sometimes sleeps on it! It seems to work well, since my wood floors are not covered with irregular rows of muddy paw prints lately.

Awesome Rug

I love this rug. I use it in my kitchen for my pitbull Zoey. She has had two hip surgeries and the tile is too slippery for her. She enjoys being with us in the kitchen, so this is perfect. Large enough for her 80-pound body. So glad I found this. Thank you Chewy !!

Super Soaker mat!

This mat is awesome at soaking up wet paws, dirt, and everything that gets tracked into the house. I'm so GLAD I got this and wish I bought it sooner, especially when we were getting torrential rains (we went through a LOT of towels).

Very pretty

This matches our door mat I bought. Perfect to place next to the dog door to trap all of our Colorado snow. Our dog even likes to lay on it as it is very soft and plush.

Best House Breaking Companion

Tough, absorbent, and washable. Dog Gone Dirty Dog rugs have kept us sane through the puppy training phase. Every dog is different. This time around we have a slow learner. These rugs can stand up to multiple washings and come out fresh and like new every time (only slight wear on the back side after about the 16th cleaning). As an added bonus, they look great on our rustic wood floors.

Works great

I love this rug. I has greatly reduced the amount of dirt coming in my house. I have a couple of large dogs that are always coming and going. Before I was having to clean the floors several times a day. Now I can get away with once a day.
