My cat’s name is too long to fit on the first line, but when I put it on the second line instead it gives me an error message saying that I cannot leave the first line blank. I would really like this product. How can I get around this so I can place an order?

The first line can not be left blank. In order to put your cat's name on the second line, we recommend adding information to the first line such as an address on phone number.
Will this work for a breakaway collar that is 3/8 inches wide? Will it slide over the buckle ok?

The ID tag fits collars ½-inch to ¾-inch wide.
Could this be securely attached to a flea collar? I worry about too much weight around my kitties necks. Thanks!

Great ID tag!

Recently decide to upgrade from an ID tag that dangles, to one that is flush. I love these so much (got 2), not only do my boys not try to bite their tag off anymore, but they don’t bang against their food bowls and other things. To the reviews complaining about how small the font is… it’s a cat collar that’s less than an inch wide. Not sure why anyone was expecting super big font with multiple lines of texts. I think these ID tags are well made and super easy to read!

Four lines of text is too hard to read

The first line's text is larger than the three lower lines, like it shows in the photo. Unlike the photo though, the text is really hard to read while my cats are wearing their collars. I haven't been able to figure out if using only three lines of text would enlarge the font or not. I emailed the company to ask this and haven't gotten a response.

solid and legible tag on collar, but tiny print

The name tag sits on the kitten's collar so it would be easy to read if the letters were bigger. I only requested 2 lines- Chester's name and my phone number, but the font is still too small.

Nice Product!

Ideal pet ID tag is a great alternative to the traditional tags that jingle jangle on collars/harnesses. Easy to slip on the collar for identification. The finish options and print are very well done. Nice Product!

Beware of sizing

I ordered the SMALL ID tag for a cat. I was able to personalize with 4 lines of info but when the tag arrived I was surprised at how tiny it was. The lettering is so small as to render the tag useless - you need a microscope to read it. I would suggest that anyone ordering the small size NOT put more than 2 lines of info. Now I'll have to place a new order for the regular size at an additional cost. What a waste of money!

Perfect ID without the clanging

My cats ID tags were making a lot of noise and getting into her food and water. I love that this is flat with the collar and doesn't make any noise. So far it has been easy to clean and long lasting. I was able to fit all the info I needed on it.

A great choice for Beauregard . . .

LOVE this company. So easy to order and prices are reasonable. Far less than P--CO:). As a new owner of a stray cat, I couldn't be happier with the selections and service at Chewy. I bought the cat ID tag that sits flat on his harness...and, what I believe is a great idea - I put his name (which he responds to) his Microchip number on line 2, on Line 3 . . . the website for the chip ID company it is registered with and 4th line is my phone number. I read so often that people find cats and have to bring them to a vet to see if it is chipped. If my cat gets lost and still has on a collar or harness, at least it avoids having someone cart him to a vet - and they more than likely wouldn't have a carrier.

Perfect Fit

This is a perfect fit for my cats. They don't like anything hanging down and this slides on the collar easily. I like the fact that it won't fall off the collar either.

Nice quaility

Good quaility and fits cat collar perfectly. Now no more tag dipping into her food when she eats! They even give you an extra elastic attachment in case the first one wears out. On the small size tag, the print other than the first line is pretty small and somewhat difficult to read. If you buy, I would advise putting the phone number as the first line, as that is the most important info to be easily read in case pet gets lost.
