    Doggy door

    By on

I have three dogs who vary in size and weight. They start at 40, then 50 then 81. When the door arrived I thought my big door wasn't going to fit. Called a friend that we all visit and who has a doggy door my pups are familiar with. His is bigger but he said that they don't use the full height of the door. My brother put it in without any difficulty and without have to take the door down. I coaxed the smallest one thru and while I got the bigger ones out of their kennel, she had come back in. Had to do a little shoving to motivate the other ones to go thru. Once they went thru the were queens of the door. They love it and I do to. They like just looking thru or sticking just their head I have three dogs who vary in size and weight. They start at 40, then 50 then 81. Great price also. … more

Doors are ok, very thin plastic covers are a pain to put on and take off

Doors are ok, very thin plastic. Covers are a pain to put on and take off. One of my doors did not come with plastic inserts for between the wood door and the doggie door, the screws that hold them together keep coming loose

    Too small for my dog

    By on

I bought the large for my large dog and it’s definitely too small. My puppy will fit but neither dog will attempt to open it. Installed it in no time but still waiting to see if any of my animals will use it.

The flaps are really not that strong

    By on

I have 2 50lb pit mixes, and they not only knock this door out of the holes, but have broken it twice now... I am not impressed with the door as it lasted 2 weeks tops.. I now have to order a replacement door, because it is so broken it will not stay in the holes, and I'm tired of gluing the piece that holds it into the door back on. This door needs a secure way to lock the door into the frame, and an all metal top if you ask me, something that will not break or fly out of the dang frame, because the dog ran through it.

    Good value

Well made. Easy install. I live in the mountains, blocks cold air from coming in. Both my pup and kittens use it

    Beat door I've ever had

    By on

I have had dog doors for over 25 years. I raised rotts and they destroyed everything. The flexible plastic doors are worthless. This door is clear frosted plastic but has see through area so your dog knows if you put down the lock out plate (lock Inside most of the time here). I actually have cut holes and glued in plexiglass in several doors for this purpose. I used one for 6 years and when we moved I bought an new one so house would be ready when dogs arrived. Before I sold old house I removed the first one just incase I ever need it. I don't think I ever will. Only down fall is it takes 2 hands to install lock out plate and one all the way to the floor to align the tabs. If it slide I have had dog doors for over 25 years. The brush seals on sides keep out drafts and bugs. Great door … more

    Not ordering again

For being a large it is small. I would hate to see a large dog go through it.
