Save the Grass
Dog Rocks was created to ensure that the grass really is always greener—on your side of the fence. Offering an easy solution to those dead, yellow patches that occur from your dog's urine, Dog Rocks went straight to the source—the water. It works by filtering out impurities from the water, which means not only are grass burns eliminated, but dogs can enjoy a cleaner source of water that actually fertilizes the lawn.

Easy to Use
Saving your lawn and providing your dog with clean, purified water is as easy as 1-2-3! When used properly, you can expect to see the results on your lawn in three to five weeks.

Rinse your rocks
Keep in mind that Dog Rocks come straight from the earth, so you'll want to wash them first. Each package is sized for one dog bowl that holds up to 2 liters of water.

Fill the Bowl
The rocks need a full bowl of water to stay effective, so remember to keep the bowl filled with 2 liters of water at all times, which is equivalent to half a gallon.

Add the Rocks
Allow the rocks to stay submerged in the bowl for 10 hours, and replace every two months to keep the water as pure as possible.

How it Works
Your dog's water is typically filled with impurities such as nitrates, tin and ammonia. When these impurities are passed through the urine, the result is yellow and dead patches on your grass. Dog Rocks work by filtering the water, and in return, your dog can actually help fertilize the lawn.
About Dog Rocks
It was 13 years ago when the founder of Dog Rocks noticed that his dog was leaving "burn" patches all over the lawn. Upon a tip from a friend, he tried purifying the water with a special rock from an Australian quarry. To his great surprise, his lawn cleared up in just four weeks, and the wheels were soon in motion. He performed three years of testing to be sure the rocks are completely safe, and he's been saving lawns and purifying dogs' water ever since.

Works for us
By khittle12 on Mar 17, 2021
We have two Rottweilers and two cats. There was. Noticeable difference with our lawn and the smell in our litter box. Not sure if the fact that all of our animals eat Rachel Ray's pet food. I was honestly shocked at the bad reviews.

Works well for us
By CNB1864 on Dec 23, 2020
Absolutely fixed the problem of my neutered 80lb male dog burning my lawn for the past 5 years. It takes a while to show results because the lawn has to grow back and the supplement has to get into your dogs system. I started noticing no new burn marks after 2 months. I did not change his diet or anything else so it had to have been the rocks. It has to be in every source of water too, so two bowls, two rock packages. I also noticed I needed to replace them after 5 months or the burns start up again.

Only 2 rocks
By Nanc on Apr 7, 2021
For the price I would think it should have more than 2 rocks in the bag

Dog rocks and how they do not work
By Cammo on Dec 3, 2020
The burn marks on my lawn say it all. My dog is on a diet specifically designed from my veterinarian. This product 'Dog Rock's, has no scientific analysis. Waste of money.

Feel like a refund should be in order
By Jlindy on Sep 13, 2020
I’ve used as directed and feel like it possibly made my pets urine even more acidic. Previously they would leave brown spots unless i would follow them out with a glass of water to pour over spots immediately after they went. Now even that doesn’t work after these pet rocks. Really though, I had hopes that this would help given I’ve moved into a home with new sod. It does literally nothing and as I’ve said seems like it’s even worse. I’ve never written a review on any product so that tells you something. Not one to ask for refunds but this was an absolute waste of money.

Hopeful but just did not work
By Misty on Oct 1, 2020
After reading very mixed reviews, I was very hopeful this would work! Sadly, we just replaced a bunch of sod, as the issue just keeps getting worse. We have Saint Augustine grass and temperatures are usually pretty hot. Not sure if this works better for different types of sod?? Would not recommend!

Unsuccessful for large breed dogs
By Sharon on Aug 28, 2020
I have two 70 lb female Labs and have been using Dog Rocks for 6 months. We had new sod installed and I was really hoping these would work but no luck. I have followed the directions exactly and even have 2 pitchers working at all times with the rocks soaking for over 10 hrs in each pitcher and still zero results. * I cannot keep the rocks in the dog bowls because the dogs keep taking them out.So I refill the bowls w/ water from pitchers. My new sod is yellow w/ urine spots everywhere. I do not recommend this product for large breed dogs.

Did not work
By MoRob on Sep 28, 2020
I love Chewy, but I did not like this product. I followed the instructions perfectly. And have tried for 6 weeks. The urine spots on the grass are just as yellow as before the rocks. Maybe it doesn’t work for every dog?

They Work, Buy Them
By firsttimebuyer on Jul 27, 2020
No one from chewy.com or from the product manufacturer has contacted me to write this review. I just believe that when products work as advertised people should know about it. We bought this $16 package of two rocks roughly five weeks ago and are using both in our 2 Liter bowl. Yellowing of grass has completely ceased. These are natural rocks and my guess is some may perform better than others, but ours are working extremely well - we have two 65 lb husky mix females (sisters) and live in a row of townhomes with a shared green lawn space behind us. These were our last hope, and are saving the day. Thanks Pet Rocks!
