Training a Stubborn Dog!

This book is extremely helpful with our stubborn corgi. He gets the training real fast but we needed some extra help to see how to get him to stop chewing on things or grabbing things that he should not be grabbing. We received our book today, started with leave it and he got it within an hour. After that, he got something he shouldn’t have when we said the commons he dropped it right away!

Step by step with steps missing

Less then basic instructions in most training tips. With the more advanced training your dog is supposed to know commands with no training.

good information

The book provides simple and effective ways to jump start the training. My puppy will go to group training in a couple of weeks, but I feel that some legwork is being accomplished ahead.

Great instructions

Simple clear step by step instructions. Learned a lot. Read it in one sitting and now reviewing basics while waiting to receive my puppy.

Mostly Helpful

This book has a good layout and nice pictures to help demonstrate the tips and tricks being taught. Did not have information for the issue I was hoping, but worth the money none-the-less.

Hit and Miss

There is SOME useful info in this book. However a lot of the demonstrations seem to have unnecessary steps involved. Such as the demo for "leave it." Personally I think it over-complicates some things. Also, way too positive-only for my taste, however to each their own. Good for beginners who have never ever owned a dog before, and have no idea where to start.

Good but not the best

Very useful. There are a few things I don’t agree with but it’s still good.
