Does this work on old stains and smells that are maybe a few years old?

How is this different from the cat urine one? Can this one be used on cat urine?

This Spray may also help with cat urine, however we would recommend using the Nature's Miracle Cat Urine Destroyer for cat messes. All of the Nature's Miracle cat products are just as effective on dog related stains and odors. They are just formulated to be more concentrated/stronger due to the potent nature of cat urine.
this leaves a sticky film on my engineered wood floors that is difficult to rinse off with water - what can i use to clean it off after it's dried?

Using a solution of diluted distilled white vinegar will remove any remaining residue. When cleaning a hardwood floor, any of Nature's Miracle Hard Floor solutions are encouraged over the Urine Destroyer.

Won’t Use Anything Else!

Bought this on a whim because our dogs and our senior cats decided to use my sons room as a bathroom one weekend. Sprayed it down heavily and let it sit for about 10 minutes. Used or steam cleaner to get it up, and I swear it worked a true miracle. His room smells so good now and not one trace of urine odor. I’m completely sold on this one.

Use this all the time!

Love this product for the kennels. It really is a destroyer like it says. Once cleaned, keeps the kennels smelling wonderful!

Not disappointed

I read mixed reviews.. mostly about smell. I have 2 dogs and one was very sick with cancer. He had bladder control issues and also a UTI at one point. Our entire house smelled very strong. This stuff not only cleaned up everything but also immediately got rid of the lingering odor nothing else did! I WILL say I love smells.. esp cleaning supplies. If you are sensitive to smells it may be too strong for you. But the product does what it says VERY effectively!

gets rid of pee smell on carpet

Best pee cleaner I’ve ever tried. Use as directions state and it’ll work. Even better if you spray, let it soak for 15 mins, then use a steam carpet cleaner. Guaranteed to get out any urine/urine smell.

Works fantastic!

I have used for cat and dog urine. Works for both. It does have a very strong smell, and you should make sure the area is well ventilated when applying. Open windows or turn on a fan - no joke. But I'm not going to deduct a star for that because it does work well, and finding a product that works on stains isn't easy. If you have set in stains, use the damp towel method. You may have to do it more than once, which I highly recommend on carpets and upholstery.

Perfumed smell is overwhelming

I've been using Kids N Pets for months and LOVED it. Well, vivid happens and everyone got puppies and now it is out of stock. Weve used Natures Miracle in the past and been pretty happy, so I went with this one because I liked the bulk size and sprayer. After we noticed a funk in one room, I found a spot to treat. Well now the entire first floor smells of a VERY strong perfume. Enough that I'd rather just have the bit of stale pee smell back to be honest. Now I have a 1.33 gallon jug I'll be donating to a shelter and still cant get Kids N Pets. Regular autoship customers should be guaranteed their products during this covid related puppy surge. Very disappointed that we have to trial and error to find an alternative to a product weve been purchasing from chewy for awhile.

Overpowering lingering scent - I do not recommend.

I bought two of these and entirely regret the purchase. The smell is so strong that even before opening it made our house smell worse than the detergent aisle of a grocery store. We put them outside on our porch and the smell still permeates into the house. I thought perhaps the smell would dissipate once the bottle was opened, or maybe it would be different when used, but no. I used it on a small area, then tried to remove the smell with water, but cannot. I have a headache from it, and I worry about the health of our pets. I don't know that it destroys the smell so much as masks it. This stuff is nasty, and I most certainly do not recommend. I'm not even going to talk about the ridiculous battery operated sprayer! I put one star because they don't allow zero!

Essential product!

I have an elderly, incontinent dog...a Norwich terrier. He wears washable diapers and uses them frequently. I have a bucket and when he has a soaked diaper, I put it in the bucket and spray the wet area with the Natures Miracle. It breaks down the urine ( Urine Destroyer) as well as the odor. When I have 8-9 treated diapers, I do a small load of wash. I do this 2-3 times a week. It is truly an essential product and a very effective one!

Just masks the odor for awhile. Not as good as the old formula.

I hadn't needed to use Nature's Miracle for about 20 years or more. The original was a concentrate that had to mixed with warm water to activate the enzymes and used right away. You needed to keep it moist for 8 hours and then let it dry. The current products are ready made and supposed to work in 15 minutes. They are also have a heavy fragrance (unlike the old formula). Well, in my opinion, it doesn't destroy the urine, and the fragrance is there to mask. Once that is gone it's back to pee smell. I'm looking for a better product. I've been using this new version for several months due to an old dog and it just doesn't cut it.
