Rated 4 out of 5 by Thought my dogs would like this I really like Acana, good quality and good ingredients. However my dogs don't like the Grasslands. They prefer Heritage Meats for whatever reason. Don't get me wrong this is a very good quality dog food. Just was hoping my dogs would of liked the Grasslands. October 13, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Formulation changes not so great Our German Shepherd has been doing so great on this food since we switched her to it a couple years ago. Doesn't matter which variety, she loves it. She had really been having trouble with loose stools and once we switched to Acana, she was a whole new dog! Until they started the formulation changes.... now we are back to occasional loose stools. I hope it is just an adjustment period, but it has been several months and it hasn't gone away. Just something to aware of. We have certainly been disappointed to see this. The ingredients in this food are top notch, so I still recommend this product if it works for your animal! October 2, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Super expensive food that my dog doesn't much like My dog isn't very picky, but for whatever reason he sticks his nose up at this food. I've mostly been feeding him Fromm and Merrick, but he has been on Orijen in the past. 2 year old 85lb lab. October 11, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Top quality food Both of my two dogs have experienced better health and coat being on this food! October 5, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Quality Food I've been a fan of Acana for a long time. My dog loves it and seems to thrive on it. It is a highly-rated food by independent sources and it is natural with no fillers. I also like the choice of the different compositions, some with fish, some ranch, some wild. That provides variety to my dog. I have one dog and two cats. I also use Acana for the cats. This survey does not allow for mention of ALL pets. September 18, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellant Highly recommend this company. I love that this company uses the whole prey concept and therefore the glucosamine levels are higher than most foods for joints, skin and coat. My pup is very happy and her coat has improved measureably. September 20, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Wonderful, healthy kibble now made in USA My male Pug had dental surgery which limited him to wet food for quite awhile. When I walk him, he would pick up anything and everything from vegetation to chew on. My fingers were constantly pulling sticks and wood chips out of his mouth. I decided he wanted to chew on something solid again so I tried this brand of kibble. It was recommended to me by an expert. He immediately gobbled this down and can't get enough. It is so healthy, I have no qualms mixing this with his wet food! And, it was made in Canada but is now made in the USA. September 7, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great food Before this I had the Pacifica Regional which is all fish based. My French Bulldog loved it but it smelled to much. After talking with several other Frenchie owners they suggested to switch to the Grasslands Regional. It has less Omega 3 in it but it doesn't smell bad or make my dogs breath smell terrible. My Frenchie loves the Grasslands as well. She's only been on it for a few weeks now so it's too soon to see any results. But there hasn't been any stomach issues and her stool has been pretty solid for the most part. Which is important because my Frenchie has a sensitive stomach. We love ACANA food! August 29, 2016
