  • A favorite of the dogs

    By on

I did a lot of research on dog food and what was best for my dogs. I tried other less expensive brands and while they are okay, Acana has been amazing for my dogs. One of my dogs always had soft poop, plus she pooped almost 5 times a day. On Acana, her poop has become more firm and she poops maybe 2-3x a day now. I am completely sold on this brand and I am extra happy because I know the food is very nutritious for my dogs. The price is high but since the portion sizes are much smaller I have been able to make this food last longer than their old food.

  • Great recipe for picky, allergic Shiba!

    By on

My Shiba Inu is a typical finicky eater - also prone to itchy allergies. I've had her on grain-free feeds for years but was impressed with the ingredients of Acana Grasslands. I decided to try it, based on recommendations from other Shiba friends for it's long-term health benefits for not only allergies but also organ health, skin and coat benefits and flavor. My Shiba easily transitioned over to Grasslands and loves it - no more finicky eater! Her coat looks great, and her itchiness has been reduced noticeably. I'm really pleased with the results and both my Shiba and I highly recommend Acana Grasslands!

  • My dog approves.

This Acana Grasslands dog food is working nicely for my German Shepherd. It agrees with his digestion and output seems normal. This seems to satisfy him. He gets tired of the same tastes, so I occasionally add a small protein rich topper to keep him interested. I am happy to see that after more than 5 tries , he finally got use to the new formula. I feel confidant that this is a great dog food. My dog has been off and on Acana foods for over 2 years. His fur is beautiful. This is a great choice !

  • The boys recommend it!

Just switched to Acana's Regional formula after feeding their Heritage formula for a year, after reading the Dog Food Advisor's evaluation and 5 star rating. So far, so good!

  • Great for my older dog

    By on

I have an 11-year old Miniature Australian Shepherd and she loves this food. The kibbles are small enough for her to chew and she loves the taste. It's also helped manage her arthritis and she is very healthy. She still hikes at 11 years old!

  • Love some of the novel proteins!

I used to feed Acana to my older Aussie but took a short break since it is pricey and switched to Fromm (fantastic if price is a concern). My puppy on the other hand seems to have a slight sensitivity to grain, so we swapped her off. We were having difficulty putting weight on her so my vet recommended we try something more nutrient dense than Fromm. I know my older dog did great on it and puppy seems to like it too. So far the biggest perk is my speed demon puppy actually eats Acana SLOWER. This is the first time I have seen her stop and chew her kibble. She gets fed twice as much as the adult and usually finishes four times faster (even with a stainless steel ball in her bowl to slow eating I used to feed Acana to my older Aussie but took a short break since it is pricey and switched to Fromm (fantastic if price is a concern). If nothing else this is worth it alone. ;) … more

  • Big fan of Orijen & Acana

    By on

We've been feeding our shiba puppy Haki on Orijen x Acana since we got him from breeder. My boy got neutered this month so we wanna switch to a lower protein dry food (Orijen usually 38%, we used to mix some Acana in it make sure his tummy digest well). Now Haki is totally on Acana grasslands right now. His fur is soft and shiny, the poop is pretty good.

  • Best quality pup and adult dog food

    By on

My puppy was having terrible tummy issues. 2 vet trips trying to address. ACANA was recommended and it works. My pup loves this one and the singles. There have been no issues rotating. His tummynissues have stoped (we also incorporated a cup a day of raw diet from Instinct the chicken and duck nibbles). Great blend and no more tummy issues and most importantly a very healthy, happy growing pup with a beautiful coat. This brand is excellent!

  • This Product is outstanding.

My dog just loves this food, it has already had a positive effect on him. He is a stud dog, and he must be AKC superior at all showings. He is more active, and his coat is absolutely georgous. Superior Food.

  • Pinnacle of foods

This is the only dog food currently available that I would feed my dog. It is expensive but you get what you pay for. Meat, no grains.
