  • Using scissors, cut the pouch across the top and remove tube.

How to apply:

  • Remove one applicator tube from the package.
  • Hold applicator tube in an upright position facing away from you and your pet‘s face and eyes. Pull cap off tube.
  • Turn the cap around and place other end of cap back on tube.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between Advantage Topical Solution and Advantage II?

We have added an insect growth regulator, pyriproxyfen, to Advantage II.

What is an insect growth regulator (IGR)?

An IGR, such as pyriproxyfen, inhibits the development of flea eggs. It also offers additional larvicidal properties when compared with imidacloprid alone.

How does pyriproxyfen work?

Pyriproxyfen mimics the juvenile growth hormone of fleas. This hormone prevents immature flea stages from molting into the next stage of the life cycle and keeps them from developing into adult fleas.

Why is it important to use a product with an IGR?

With an IGR as part of your flea control, the flea life cycle is disrupted at multiple stages through different active ingredients and modes of action. This is often referred to as integrated flea control (IFC). The addition of an IGR to Advantage II adds larvicidal and ovicidal properties to target flea infestations and kill all flea life stages.

Is Advantage II waterproof?

Yes, there is no need to reapply the product after weekly swimming or a bath. For best results, use a non-detergent shampoo.

Getting dog food through chewy has saved me so much time. I have four very large dogs that love their food and going to the store weekly has always been a challenge there is never anyone to help you get dog food in cart then load in your car then unload when you get home. Now with chewy it is delivered to my door all I have to do is bring it in and it’s even cheaper then buying at the store. Thank you Chewy I have recommended you to multiple people

I totally got rid of fleas. I haven't had them in 20 years. Now the neighbor behind me is feeding the wild cats, rats etc. He's running a farm of which he knows nothing. And, I and my dogs suffer. So 20 years ago, I used this product. And, I thought I'd use it, or try it again. All of a sudden my dogs had like 5 fleas apiece. I watched the fleas get more and more "stoned" and soon they just fell off dead. It did take about 6 hours to get the first of the flock. Now I see none. I know when they have landed because I have very sensitive skinned dog. And, she will itch. But one bite and they're dead after you've done the application. This says a bunch because I have 4 dogs living at I totally got rid of fleas. I haven't had them in 20 years. I did not want to do an oral medication one as its too much on the liver. I'm sure some of the topical goes to the liver as well. But, perhaps less of it. … more

  • Doesn't work at all - total waste of money

I've always got my dog's flea meds at the vet. I tried this thinking I could save money and the topical I use on our cat seemed to work (I thought it was this brand, but I guess not.) Not only did I waste my money on this, but my poor dog has suffered. I'm attaching a photo of all the fleas I combed off of her a week and a half after putting the medicine on her to warn others and so other dogs won't suffer. I'm sorry it's so disgusting, but I want to show you how badly this doesn't work. So a week and a half later AND a flea shampoo bath after getting the med, just for good measure and this is what I have. I will be contacting Chewy.com for a refund on this one. • did not control fleas

Within 2 wks saw fleas again. Used on outdoor dogs & treated their pens but noticed live fleas again. Feel like I need to change products to see if we get a better result. I don't want to have to apply a topical treatment and also be treating with a spray as well. Waste of money in my opinion. I did like the 6 treatment tubes & felt like it was a good deal for the money if it woulf have worked as i expected.

  • Best prices, super-fast shipping

    By on

For the first time in 22 years we got a flea problem with our three cats and one dog. Treating them for three months was going to be expensive with our vet or at our local pet store - at least $150! I found Chewy and placed my first order. Not only did we save more than $30, but we got our Advantage II within two days! The fleas are already dying or dead, but we'll be maintaining the treatment just to be sure. Chewy just got a new customer!

  • Worked great on our dogs

    By on

I have a medium size dog and we recently acquired my son's large dog. With the warmer weather I ran out of the flea treatment for the summer months, so I ordered from Chewy to get it fast. My vet told me to use a whole on on the large dog and I could use half of a vial for the middle dog and save the rest for the next treatment. It was quick acting, easy to apply and no side effects on the dog.

  • Impressive

I've used Advantage for years so I knew the product was going to be good, however, Chewy.com's price, which included free shipping, was better than any I could find, and the item I received was new and fresh, not "new old inventory" which had been sitting on a shelf or purchased as overstock from some third party. And if you're worried about their "1 to 2 days" shipping time, I actually called and asked about it. The courteous young man who answered told me that since it was Thursday afternoon, I would receive it either on Saturday or Tuesday, since FedEx Home doesn't deliver on Mondays. • Bye bye fleas!

We had previously used Frontline on our dogs and noticed that they continually had fleas. We live out in the country and treating our 6 acre yard isn't feasible. We rely on topical treatments and they weren't working anymore. They even shared their fleas with our indoor cats (not cool). I was at my wits end and the poor dogs were miserable. After reading other reviews on this product I decided to give it a try as I didn't have anything to lose. I gave the dogs a bath and as soon as they were dry I applied the Advantage II as directed. Within 30 minutes I was literally watching fleas come off their body and die - it was amazing!
