Rated 5 out of 5 by excellent food, for dogs with bad hips I started giving my dog age 12 the Annanaet, 24% about 2 months a go. He was on another brad of food for seniors for many years. He was getting shots for his hips every month and was really struggling. I noticed in about 2 weeks that he had more pep and hip problem went a way. He really loves the food. Excellent Product. Rated 5 out of 5 by Fabulous Great product! My husky loves it. I mixed it for a couple weeks with the old food and it was clear that my dog likes this food better because this food was gone and the old food remained at the bottom of the bowl. Extremely fast shipping too!! Win win!!! November 10, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Finally, no chicken, potatoes or white rice I was looking for a dog food that did not have fowl or eggs and peas due to allergies and that also did not have white potatoes or white rice so my little ones did not end up with yeast. Believe it or not, this is a difficult feat. Two out of the three liked the taste, but the third is always very difficult to please. The only problem I do have to note is that the bag's ingredients were different than what was listed on Annamaet's site. After contacting them, they explained that they were using up the old bags that they had and the ingredients in the food matched the site's ingredients. I think they probably should have noted that on the site. The old ingredients had cod and not salmon. January 2, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by My Chesapeakes Love It Since the many food recalls it seems I spend an unbelievable amount of time researching dog food brands, only to be disappointed in the end. Until...I stumbled upon Annamaet. The fact their company has never been a part of a major recall is IMPRESSIVE! To say the least. I am also quite impressed with the quality sourced ingredients, and the balanced pH levels the food has. The unique meat protein of the Venison is very satisfying, and made for a very simple transition from TOTW to fact my Chessie's prefer the Annamaet! And did I mention how affordable a 40lb bag is!!! Thank goodness for Annamaet! November 12, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great for dog with allergies My young Lab was getting constant ear infections, which the vet said is often due to allergies. I'd been feeding her BB food, but a vet tech suggested Annamaet because of the venison and salmon. Not only has my dog NOT had a single ear infection since the switch nearly two years ago, but people are always commenting on how trim she is, especially for a Lab. She absolutely loves the food although that may not mean anything because, after all, she IS a Lab and they will eat anything. Great price from Chewy, too. September 1, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by good for allergies My Izzie kept scratching and scratching. I changed her food a couple of times. This one seemed to do the trick. No more scratching! August 13, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Dull coat and ingredient change? I wanted to try a non-chicken product and this looked like a good option, especially given the low ash, however I find my dog's coat is suffering from the low fat content - it looks a bit dull and feels dry. Also they appear to have changed the ingredients (new ingredients are shown on Chewy, old on the Annamaet website) and now include lamb, which my dog is allergic to. April 29, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Annamaet Option Dry Dog Food After several attempts (Royal Canin, WellsPet, Evo, etc.) and trying to please two chihuahuas (one likes fish and the other has digestive issues) Annamaet is the winner. Was using Annamaet Aqualuk. The vet suggested adding venison to their diet. Annamaet Option was well received by my two dogs. Give it a try if you haven't find your ideal dog food. August 22, 2014
