Rated 2 out of 5 by AhimsaGirl Not great for cat litterbox scooping
I use dog waste bags for litterbox scooping. These bags caught my eye b/c they are eco-friendly and unscented. However, the opening of the bag is not large enough to put the litter scoop in without spilling. Also, they do not have handles, which I use to tie the waste in tight. May be great for dog waste, but not recommended for cat box scooping.

Great bag for small to mid-size dogs (no more than 70 lbs.) depending the "deposited" amount to pick up.

So my question always was, why put poop in a plastic bag in the landfill? These bags allow poop to disappear as it was meant to.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Vicky LOVE these bags!
I just love the BioBags. They are so much easier to open, to tie, and even to store. You just rip one off the top and go. There are holes punched in the top of the group, so I just use trash ties to tie them up - making it easy to rip one off. The material is not as thick as most bags, making them easier to tie, to turn in-side out, and to toss away. Won't buy any other kind. DON'T stop carrying them!!

If you have to clean up after your pup, these are awesome. I have had one break, they're a great size and dark!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Colette Nice to have a biodegradable product
We've been using newspaper bags for a long time, even though we recycle everything we can. These bags fold up into a small square but are big enough to work easily.

These bags are biodegradable, certainly a good feature if you are pitching poop into landfills! they are a nice size for your hand as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by JosieInIthaca These are great
Completely aside from being environmentally responsible, these are great bags. They are strong (never had one rip, or open at the seam). They are a silky kind of material which makes them much nicer to jam into a pocket than the cheap kind that are very plasticy and harsh to crumple up.
These particular ones I prefer to the rolled ones (since I don't use one of those bone dispenser things) because they are shaped differently and hold more. The rolled version have more of a star shaped bottom where these are straight shaped (like a zip lock).
The little enclosure hole thing is handy, but I usually just tie them - there is plenty of length for that and they tie super easily. I have a little trash can for dog poo specifically and the bags really contain the smell very well.
I highly recommend them!
