first of all the only reason that it is so expensive is because of the name Blue we have bought my 100 pound lab blue buffalo before and the price is crazy I spent over $100 on two bags just to make it a month this kind and the life source one second of all it has way too much protein and my dog is very active lazy dogs should have 20-24% protein active dogs should have anywhere from 24-30% protein when I got home after buying the food read reviews and looked up the protein and too much protein for my dog they can get very sick I do not reccomend this food the price is crazy and you can find different high quality dog food for a smaller price my dog gets DIAMOND NATURALS and he has solid poop extremely soft and shinny hair it is way cheaper and the same quality don't waste money I took the true blue test and they don't have diamond naturals on it because the food is the same quality and they don't want you to save money

We normally feed Blue Buffalo Life Protection Formula Healthy Weight Adult Chicken & Brown Rice Recipe Dry Dog Food, but when we found a little gut that needed to put weight on and needed some extra protein, we put him on Wildderness Chicken Recipe Grain-Free formula. He transitioned very well without any intestinal upset and is thriving. We love Blue Buffalo!

Rated 5 out of 5 by LoveBlueBuffalo No more orange feet or feet licking
I was wondering why my dog was licking her paws so much, so I asked the groomer, and she said it was yeast growing on her feet, probably due to her diet. I checked out the web and sure enough it was due to her eating grains. I switched to this kibble and BB grain free treats, and her orange feet and feet licking have gone away. It took about 4 months or so, but I think it is finally out of her system. It costs more, but it is worth it. Now when I walk my dog around the subdivision and see dogs with orange feet I know what the deal is. It is especially noticeable with white dogs. I hope their caretakers discover BB soon. It sure helped us. Thanks Blue Buffalo!

I started feeding grain free food because the vet told me that it could help with her head shaking due to ear problems. He said that grains can make yeast irritations. The ears seem to be better. I don't have to use any ear cream now. Another benefit about the food is she doesn't pass a lot of gas. Everyone has been around a dog that can clear the room, but I rarely ever smell her. I will continue to feed Wilderness to keep us both comfortable.

Being the parents of a GS with wheat allergies can be ruff. All joking aside, we've come to love the Blue Buffalo Wilderness brand and appreciate that our girl is getting the nutrients that she needs. No complaints from her.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Chris33 Great company and great product.
My dog is really a odd duck. If you hand him any red meat or pork he will not eat it. He loves only grains and poultry and fish. Needless to say shopping for a dog food wan't easy. I tried Blue Buffalo chicken and he went bonkers eating it! What a relief.
What I noticed right away was that he started gaining weight and muscle mass. There is no mistake about this, this dog food is incredible. We could not keep weight on our dog and even took him to the vet. I highly suggest you try it. Having it ship to your door is another cool bonus of this company. New to me in my life.

My order was shipped immediately and arrived early. It was well-packed, fresh, and at my doorstep. My dogs are delighted and so am I. Who could ask for anything more?

Rated 2 out of 5 by DocVicki didn't like it
Sorry, but I thought I'd give my dogs a try on this dog food, which I hear is good. They didn't like it, and won't eat any food I have mixed it in with (half and half to start) So back to the Purina Smart Blend they were raised on, and I also cook for them, beef, chicken, and sweet potatoes. So I'm sure it's a good product, but mine won't touch it.
