It's a doggy dentist's favorite tool and a doggy's favorite chew… all in one! The Busy Buddy Bristle Bone Dog Toy has nylon bristles and rubber nubs that stimulate the gums and remove plaque and tartar as dogs entertain themselves gnawing and chewing trying to get their hard-earned reward: rawhide! Bristle Bone Dog Toys are available in multiple sizes and include 4 treats.
Durable nylon and rubber construction, includes 4 Busy Buddy treat ring refills
Comes with all-natural rawhide treats
Nylon bristles and rubber nubs that stimulate the gums and remove plaque and tartar
Made using compressible rubber that's perfect for medium-strength chewers
Busy Buddy interactive toys are made for exactly what the name says—keeping your buddy busy doing the thing he loves to do (chew). These durable treat-holding toys give him an extra reward for chewing the things he should be chewing, instead of the furniture. Playtime is sure to last much longer as he tries to solve the puzzle to get to the tasty rawhide rings.
A Satisfying Challenge for Your Pup
Dogs love to chew because it satisfies instinctual urges. Busy Buddy toys give them the same satisfaction they would get by catching prey in the wild and being able to eat what they catch. There's a Busy Buddy toy for every type of four-legged hunter, and each is made with durable nylon and rubber that has a pleasant vanilla scent.
More Than Just a Puzzle Toy
Aside from being a fun and challenging puzzle toy, the Busy Buddy can help prevent bad behaviors like inappropriate chewing, excessive barking and digging through the trash. It's also the perfect solution for separation anxiety or boredom and makes a great training reward. The varied textures and rawhide rings keep pups content and engaged for hours.
Treat Ring Refills
You can refill your dog's Busy Buddy with several flavors of treat rings, including natural rawhide, peanut butter or bacon. Some have added health benefits, like the Dental Support rings that help clean teeth and freshen breath, or Joint Support rings with glucosamine and chondroitin. Each package is labeled with the ring size that will fit.
Ultra Toys for Determined Chewers
For heavy chewers, a Busy Buddy Ultra toy might be the best option. They're designed to challenge your dog even more than regular Busy Buddy toys. The Ultra Sub has treat rings that spin, and the Ultra Stratos is the same diameter as the rings, making them harder to grip. The cone-shaped ends of the Ultra Woofer present a trickier challenge as your dog figures out how to get to the ring.

My big 95# bully-boxer mix dog can and does destroy everything. The ends of this toy are hard plastic (like nylabone) and she hasn't destroyed them yet. But the inner parts, the bristle and the purple rubber parts, well, they'll have to be replaced soon. My dog does love this and it keeps her interested for long periods, but she has torn the rubber parts to pieces already (2 weeks). Also, I ordered the BBQ-flavored rings and she doesn't care for them as much as the regular ones the toy came with. Not sure if that's a flavor or texture issue.
GREAT COOL-DOWN ATTENTION-GRABBER BUSY TOY!!!
on May 20, 2017
This toy arrived today with our auto-ship order and I could not be more THRILLED! In fact, this is the first product where I could not wait to get online and post a review! I was looking for another toy to accomplish what our Kong Jack does for our energetic but also anxiety-challenged Austrian Cattle Dog! He need toys that can work his mind while also calming his body during cool-down times. At this time, he has been actively laying and working on this bone for one hour and forty-five minutes (and he is showing NO signs of stopping anytime soon). Hopefully this continues and if he starts to lose interest, we will simply switch disk flavors (he is VERY food motivated which is great). This is a great toy/treat!

Got this one to keep my dog entertained when I had to be away, and he loves it.
Takes him a while to get it all. Unfortunately, I ordered the wrong size refills, so have to re-order the medium size.
Web site on the size was a little confusing, but will definitely re-order.
Could be more tough
on Jun 13, 2017
I ordered this for my four years old doodle to occupy him when we are eating. It works great, and my dog loves it. The only thing is the center white ring/brush part broken to two pieces the second day. We still use the toy, but it would be better if it's tough enough for chewing.

I have a 100 lb Rottweiler and she loved this the first hour or so but then she figured out how to unscrew the bone and eat the two treats and that was it. Once the tteats are gone she doesn't want it. Can you buy just the treats that go wiyh the bone?
Did not hold up
on Jun 10, 2017
Sorry, but while this is listed for a tough chewer, our 70 pound lab/border collie mix destroyed it within hours and even was able to unscrew the toy to get to the treats. He was actually eating the white plastic part of the bone. Very disappointing and not worth the money.
Power Chewer stopped in her tracks!

We've been searching for a toy/bone/chew that our almost 2 year old Pittie would not destroy inside of ten minutes. This is it! She loves chewing on this, even without the treats. At first, she was able to get it apart (smart little girl!), but we just kept putting it back together and now she just loves to chew on it. It's now her go to chew toy. Will definitely be buying another down the road for her.
Dogs think it is too much trouble
on Jun 16, 2017
I have large dogs and ordered a large size. My mistake toy is so big and the treat is really hard to get to, they chewed at it for a few minutes. But it is too large to carry around and they never made it to the treat. They gave up, won't touch them.
Great toy & great for teeth!
on Jun 5, 2017
My dog was all over this! It did great things for her teeth. Unfortunately she seems to have realized she gets certain treats for getting her medicine and this requires some effort so she doesn't play with it as much anymore. I have a ton of refills so hopefully she takes a liking to it again!
Very durable, but my dog isn't too interested
on May 5, 2017
I love the idea and durability of this chew toy. It works great except my dogs lose interest in it. When they were interested, it seemed to really get in there and clean their teeth well. I think if the replaceable chew discs were more appealing to them, it would work better. I tried using 2 or 3 discs so it would be easier for them to access the disc, but they just aren't interested. Maybe peanut butter!
