The Toy With Built-In Rewards

Busy Buddy interactive toys are made for exactly what the name says—keeping your buddy busy doing the thing he loves to do (chew). These durable treat-holding toys give him an extra reward for chewing the things he should be chewing, instead of the furniture. Playtime is sure to last much longer as he tries to solve the puzzle to get to the tasty rawhide rings.

A Satisfying Challenge for Your Pup

A Satisfying Challenge for Your Pup

Dogs love to chew because it satisfies instinctual urges. Busy Buddy toys give them the same satisfaction they would get by catching prey in the wild and being able to eat what they catch. There's a Busy Buddy toy for every type of four-legged hunter, and each is made with durable nylon and rubber that has a pleasant vanilla scent.

More Than Just a Puzzle Toy

Aside from being a fun and challenging puzzle toy, the Busy Buddy can help prevent bad behaviors like inappropriate chewing, excessive barking and digging through the trash. It's also the perfect solution for separation anxiety or boredom and makes a great training reward. The varied textures and rawhide rings keep pups content and engaged for hours.

Treat Ring Refills

Treat Ring Refills

You can refill your dog's Busy Buddy with several flavors of treat rings, including natural rawhide, peanut butter or bacon. Some have added health benefits, like the Dental Support rings that help clean teeth and freshen breath, or Joint Support rings with glucosamine and chondroitin. Each package is labeled with the ring size that will fit.

Ultra Toys for Determined Chewers

For heavy chewers, a Busy Buddy Ultra toy might be the best option. They're designed to challenge your dog even more than regular Busy Buddy toys. The Ultra Sub has treat rings that spin, and the Ultra Stratos is the same diameter as the rings, making them harder to grip. The cone-shaped ends of the Ultra Woofer present a trickier challenge as your dog figures out how to get to the ring.

  • One Of Our Favorites!

The Busy Buddy Jack has become one of my shepherds’ favorite toys! This is the one he chooses to take into his crate almost every day. It’s simple to change the rings (as opposed to spending large chunks of time stuffing Kongs) and the rawhide disks haven’t caused any GI issues (also unlike some Kong stuffings). My only recommendation would be to size up for more durability. My 45 lb border collie mix can fit the medium almost entirely in his mouth. Overall, we love them!

  • Amazing, and keeps Doggo busy

This remains my dog's favorite toy. I got it for when I went to work, and this doesn't disappoint. We take this to other people's houses just in case he gets antsy. The white knobs are definitely chewed, but it's pretty impressive that they aren't chewed off, given my Doggo's propensity for nomming anything plastic, including thick Tupperware.

  • Is working well with my pack of dedicated chewers

If a toy lasts five minutes at my house it will probably last many months. My heavy-duty chewing dogs include a Staffie, Sheltie/Lab, Aussie/Lab, Australian Cattle Dog and a bunch of foster dogs. I got this toy specifically for the young male German Shepherd foster on crate rest and his Australian Cattle Dog foster friend - also on crate rest. The Staffie did manage to do some damage to the soft green rings after several hours of work. They all enjoy the toy so much that I've bought a second one to avoid quarrels. The GSD figured out that if he wedged the purple part into the crate wire he could partially unscrew the Jack, making the rawhide more accessible. (That's what I get for training all the dogs a lot of independent learning skills.) For the average dog I think this would be a fantastic toy to leave with them during the day, especially if they are crated. The only downside is the rawhide refills that are OUTRAGEOUSLY expensive. For my pack, they need to be replaced daily. I ordered refills in both peanut butter and rawhide flavours and the peanut butter ones lasted just minutes. At expensive for refills, I will be looking for less expensive alternatives. If the refills weren't so expensive I'd give this toy 4.5 stars. … more

  • Pup loves but not indestructible

    By on

My puppy loves this toy and I’ve recommended it to all my chewer friends but he was able to damage it enough for me to get “replacement parts”. But keeps him busy when he focuses on it. Would buy again.

  • Not Good For Us

My dog has a bouncy bone that she loves, so I thought she’d like this from the same company. She cannot get the treat and doesn’t even try to play with it now.

  • My dog loves this toy.

    By on

She enjoys chewing on it and it's very sturdy. The reason that I gave it a 4 is because I can't find a rawhide or other treats that stay slightly soft. The rings that I bought hardened so she lost interest in the toy. I'm thinking apple rings?

  • Entertaining toy

    By on

My dog loved chewing on it, but it made his mouth bleed a little. The nylon ends can become somewhat sharp. That said, the dog won't let anyone touch the toy, he liked it so much.

  • My dog has no interest in this toy

    By on

My 6 month old puppy loves new toys and games, but he hasn't looked twice at this toy. I'm not sure, but I think it is because of the very thin treat you put between the plastic parts. I'm not sure he finds it appealing , therefore he never plays with this toy.
