Rated 2 out of 5 by Maggiesmom Just didn't work
The first time my dog saw this toy, she was very curious about it and within 5 minutes had opened it up and poured the treats onto the floor.
I tried cutting the dispenser to matches the kibble, but that proved harder than it looks.
Now the toy is jammed shut and she is more interested in chewing the plastic parts on the outside off and leaving little pieces around the house.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Marilyn Great toy/feeder
Our 50+lbs dog loves her "egg" feeder. It took her about 3 days to figure it out (she was a shelter dog recovering from being spayed so her energy level was low). Now all her meals are given in it. I slightly snipped opening on pointed side of egg so more would spill out. Don't know if it really needed to be. We all love watching her bat this thing around using her snout and her paws. Slows down her eating and she goes back many times between feeding just to check if it will spill a few more kibbles. She hits it hard and not even a crack. Love this thing. Had it for about 4-5 months so far. Show no wear and tear.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Jjul Too easy to open
My dog will open this so easily and eat all the treats. It doesn't hold up long at all for her to play. Waste of money.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Mlh17 Did not last more than 30 minutes
It is a great concept and very entertaining for dogs but a poor design. The 2 pieces do not lock into place and consequently come unscrewed from being played with by the dog. Once the two half came apart, my dog chewed them up enough that they could not be screwed back together.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Bordercollie2 This product is great
This is the second busy buddy I have purchased. The first one just wore out after years of use. My dogs love batting it around getting food to fall out. I fill it before I get on the treadmill, so it keeps them busy while I'm working out.

Rated 3 out of 5 by MyBeautifulBoxer SMALL hole for treats to exit
You either have to get really small kibble or plan to cut your treats up into small pieces.
We buy Orijen freeze dried treats for our dogs, which are pretty small, and we even have to cut those in half in order for them to come out of the opening.
My wicked smart 12 lb chihuahua figured out really fast that in order to get the treats out, the best bet is to roll it around the floor with his paws. So that's what he does, and waits for the treats to emerge.
Keeps him occupied. My Boxer puppy (30 lb dog) just wants to chew on the egg, but I don't think it will last long if I let him do that so I keep this one away from him. I don't think it's durable enough for a larger or medium size dog.
I check it periodically just to make sure it hasn't come apart. You have to take it apart to put treats in,then screw it back together.
I wouldn't recommend this for larger dogs or dogs that chew alot.

Love it. I'll be buying more in the future. As the puppy grows.

Rated 5 out of 5 by BQKT Hours of puppy fun
My 8-month old puppy loves this toy and it keeps him busy for hours. Okay, maybe not consecutive hours, but hours in puppy time. The only downside is that it's big enough that when he drops it off the bed to try to dislodge the treats inside, it's LOUD. (If you have neighbors below you, they might not like it so much.)
