  • Definitely a disappointment!

    By on

This is an extremely large item, and I really would not classify it for medium to large dogs. It is quite sturdy, but not too much fun for my dog. Despite removal of several of the rubber flanges, the kibble does not come out ... I even have trouble pulling it out with my finger. I thought it would entertain my dog and extend her meal time. Instead it bores an otherwise energetic problem solver after only a few minutes. Disappointing at best.

  • Dog is smarter than toy

    By on

It's definitely sturdy and releases kibbles at a good rate. However, my dog figured out how to unscrew the toy the first time he used it. It doesn't screw tight when closed so is easy to open. Unfortunate because it seemed like it was going to to be a good toy to slow his eating and keep him occupied.

  • Nice toy but not right for our dog

    By on

I really wanted a puzzle toy for our Shepherd mix to keep her busy at times. She liked it initially - maybe five minutes because she was hungry, but hasn't touched it since. Maybe it's just her or our kibble which doesn't come out well, but sadly it's not working for us. Expensive buy for it not to be more enjoyable for her.

  • Good toy but doesn't last

    By on

would be a great puzzle toy, but my dog can untwist the two sides from one another no matter how tight I close it! I've bought two different ones and both had this problem. If they figured out a way it could really latch shut, it'd be a great distraction toy and I'd definitely recommend it. For now we're sticking to their other puzzle toy with the rope even though that one is a little easier for my dog.

  • So easy to fill!

    By on

Love how quick and easy it is to fill but it requires very small kibble or treats otherwise dog will get frustrated from nothing coming out and quit.

  • Good product, dense dog

    By on

I got this for our Frenchie who needs some mental stimulation in the winter when he can't be outside to run out his crazies. He's food driven so I thought this would be a win but he just can't figure it out! I blame the dog, not the product and I think it would be great for a dog who is a bit smarter than my guy!

  • The Busy Buddy is awesome

    By on

My 10 year old Multi Tzu eats her food too fast & would usually throw it back up but a few years back I found the "treat ball" as we call it and it has taken care of her eating too fast , we put her food in the ball & she pushes it around with her nose & it kicks out a few pieces at a time and she loves it plus no more eating too fast & no more throwing it back up. Thank you for a great product.

  • Great toy/feeder

    By on

Our 50+lbs dog loves her "egg" feeder. It took her about 3 days to figure it out (she was a shelter dog recovering from being spayed so her energy level was low). Now all her meals are given in it. I slightly snipped opening on pointed side of egg so more would spill out. Don't know if it really needed to be. We all love watching her bat this thing around using her snout and her paws. Slows down her eating and she goes back many times between feeding just to check if it will spill a few more kibbles. She hits it hard and not even a crack. Love this thing. Had it for about 4-5 months so far. Show no wear and tear.

  • Just didn't work

    By on

The first time my dog saw this toy, she was very curious about it and within 5 minutes had opened it up and poured the treats onto the floor. I tried cutting the dispenser to matches the kibble, but that proved harder than it looks. Now the toy is jammed shut and she is more interested in chewing the plastic parts on the outside off and leaving little pieces around the house.

  • Did not last more than 30 minutes

    By on

It is a great concept and very entertaining for dogs but a poor design. The 2 pieces do not lock into place and consequently come unscrewed from being played with by the dog. Once the two half came apart, my dog chewed them up enough that they could not be screwed back together.
