  • My dog likes it.

    By on

We just got this last night. I filled it with treats and my 5 pound Chihuahua knew what to do with it, without instructions!! She really likes it. I bought the X-Small, and, let me tell you, it is *SMALL*!!! It's probably about 3 inches total. I gave it 4 stars because when you screw it all the way, the holes don't match, so I can't use it on the "hardest" level. I have to use it on an easier level to match the holes, and she's pretty quick to get the treats out then. I would recommend this for dogs that need more activity because she chased it around for about 20 minutes before she got all 5 treats out of it.

  • EXCELLENT DISTRACTION

    By on

Bought this for my puppy. It kept him distracted for a good 20 minutes. He's already mastered it so he's down to five minutes but I'll take 5 any day of the week. He's extremely active!!!

  • Great product!

My miniature schnauzer has a tendency to go scavenger hunting in the yard looking for trouble, so now she can search for her kibble instead. This keeps her busy in a good way.

  • Good for big kibble

    By on

If you have small kibble, this toy will dispense food far too quickly, but if you have bigger kibble this is a pretty good toy. It still dispenses food faster than others, so I use it in the mornings when my dog is less alert and patient and just wants to eat but I want to give her a little challenge.

  • she loves it

My dog absolutely loved this toy, she pushes it all around the house getting food out of it. I have had a hard time finding just the right great to fit in it properly.

  • Very sturdy. Great design. Kind of smelly.

    By on

The only thing I don't like is the smell. It's like the new car smell but more plastically. I tried soaking it in dish soap. It may go away but I haven't given it to my puppy yet because of the smell. Other than that, it is a very hardy toy. I could see how dogs would like it.

  • Love this product!

Had this same product (purchased at a store) for years until eventually the threaded area inside wore out, so I decided to look for it again, and of course Chewy.com had it. It's endless entertainment for my dog and he is now 12.5 years old and is still super excited when he sees the purple disc come out. I use Zuke Mini's and the Kong Cream to fill the disc with and he has figured out many ways to get to the treats inside. He pinches one side to shake out the treats, he throws the disc against the wall with his teeth to make treats fall out and he also learned over time how to "unscrew" the disc parts with his paws to get better access to the goodies inside. • easy to use and entertains our Lab

Puzzles are great to put kibble in and let your dog get some exercise while eating. treats or kibble can be added to the item and its dispensed as the dog rolls or turns the puzzle. Both out Labs have their own and love it!

  • Dogs love it!

    By on

Both my 30 pound and 60 pound dogs enjoy the challenge of nosing this around to get food. It's a great way to stretch out meal time. It is sturdy, easy to fill, and easy to set the difficulty level. Great puzzle game for the pups!

  • my dog gives it "two paws up"

    By on

This toy is a great way for me to provide my treat-driven senior chihuahua with some fun. Since he only has a few teeth, his options are limited. He's 7 lbs, and I purchased the 'small' size. The toy is scented. It's... different... but it's a whole lot better than the rubbery chemical smell of other treat-dispensing toys. I'd recommend taking soft/chewy treats and breaking them up into bits. You have to make sure the amount you tighten the toy is suitable for the size of the treats you place in there--you don't want it to be too hard or too easy. My dog will give up fairly quickly if nothing's coming out. That being said, he loves this toy, and goes absolutely nuts when he sees it in my hand This toy is a great way for me to provide my treat-driven senior chihuahua with some fun.
