Capstar Flea Tablets for Dogs over 25 lbs is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 118.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wish I would've known about this sooner! I am absolutely amazed at this product. We have been invaded by fleas from a kitten my daughter brought home and our poor 1 year old pit bull is allergic to flea bites. She has been miserable and we have literally tried every imaginable thing. The reviews are what convinced me to buy this product and the price is perfect! The 3rd week when I noticed her treatment wearing off I gave Bexley a tablet easily in a little piece of peanut butter bread and it wasn't even hours later that I noticed the difference. Way less itching and no fleas were jumping on me while cuddling her. The true test, the next day I gave her a bath and what normally would be 20+ fleas in the water and on the comb, I pulled off, are you ready??? 2 fleas and they were dead!!!! It's a safe product and can be given whenever needed. I'm sold and will remain a loyal user to this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Don't Know what I would have done! This past yr the fleas had to be the worst ever! Even using the monthly treatments, our dogs were being attcked! One of the two brothers is allergic to the bites. Poor little guy gets scabs all over, and he just cannot get any rest. The first 2 weeks of the flea treatments seemed to work for the most part, but the 1 dog was still being affected very badly. All I can say is, Thank God for this product!!!! It has helped thru the days when the monthly either stops being effective or the fleas are just that bad. I've been so tired of giving little Boots Benedryl everyday for his itching, but thanks to this product, I can give safely every few days or when I notice him itching again. It's now Jan. and unusal warm weather is upon us. This means that these things r hatching again it seems. Thanks Chewy for getting products to us fast. Even one bite causes poor little guy to have problems. He will pull on my hands to scratch him when it becomes bad again. I reach for Capstar and within an hour, we both are able to get rest! Then I go to vacuuming everything in the house and washing everything down and throwing out the vacuum bags. Can't stress enough that this is only a tempoorary fix and only kills the adult fleas and it does work as described on the box, to help when infestations are bad, and should be used in conjunction with monthly treatments. Not for use as a sole treatment of fleas, when infested. I would also reccomend if taking your friends out to play at parks and kennels where other dogs frequent.

I bought the generic stuff for 40.00 from vet it didn't work . My dogs are happy now . That harts stuff killed my two cats I had for 8 years . I so sorry I let the vet sell me that chemicals that killed my cats . He said it must have been their age sorry for your luck. Never again will I trust a vet. Natural is better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great! I give this to my dog and usually put her on the porch. The fleas will start twitching and dying, so she scratches and shakes them off while outside. Then, I'll bring her in and use a flea comb afterwards. This kills all the adult fleas! We had to do this a few times since our monthly treatment stopped working and we switched to Advantage. I would recommend this as a temporary solution until you can find a good monthly treatment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is a great product. My dog ended up with fleas recently, and our vet suggested Capstar to kill them within 4 hours. I tried it. As long as all her bedding was washed, and carpets were vacuumed, and she was put on monthly flee prevention right after, Capstar did what it claimed to do. It got rid of the flees.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Bought these as a precautionary measure. So honestly not sure if they worked but they are flea free so I am going to say they did. I pretty much trust nearly everything chewy sells. Our three kids, Sully, Tessy and Lukie love you Chewy :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from IT WORKS I have a 125lb Bernese Mt. Dog who loves outside and is in fact treated monthly with PetArmour Plus. but he still came in contact with a few buggers. After Vets approval for flea treatment at 3 weeks, we treated him with Advatix 2 XL large dog and gave him a capstar ever other day for 4 days. Long story short, we did find one flea on him 30 days after treatment (Not sure if it was outside flea or a few hatchlings left behind). So just 2 hours ago I capstared him and sure enough, I found 1 flea on him (that I had tried to catch earlier) twitching on the floor. Now I am not sure if it was the advatix 2 or the capstar, but it worked on my big guy. To be safe I treated all my clean cats because those bugger are trying to get in before it snows. TAKE THAT FLEA!!!! By the way, Chewy is super fast at shipping and prices are great. I recommend capstar and Advantix 2 for you pups. And FYI, You will still see flea stragglers after treatment for up to 3 months depending on how long you had them in your home. Vacuum Vacuum Vacuum and wash areas visited by pets. NO need for chemical bombs and sprays. If you keep your pets treated every 4 weeks (every 3 is they have a lot) the fleas will have no host to live on and will die. They can't not produce of human blood. Us reputable website like entomology departments at universities. I may sound rude, but this with infestations are those who weren't treating.
