  • My dogs now eat without hesitation!

    By on

I have tried many "high end" brand dog foods (Blue, Nutro Ultra, Taste of the Wild) and my dogs have never enjoyed eating them. We have a 95lb black lab/ mix and a 60lb Pit Bull/mix, both were shelter dogs. I did some research recently and learned that if you choose to feed dry dog food you should make sure meats are the first 3 ingredients. I came across Chicken Soup for the Large Breed dog after looking at pages of dog foods on the Chewy website. The first three ingredients are: Chicken, Turkey, chicken meal. I decided to give it a try...and i'm excited to say my dogs love it! We are now auto-enrolling with our second bag on the way tomorrow. Do your research before you buy dog food. • Outstanding quality

    By on

I received Gerry my full blooded German Shepard when he was 10 weeks old. I was feeding him another brand of what I thought was a quality food until I had a chat with my dog border. He turned me onto the Chicken Soup and I gave it a try. Gerry was only starting on adult food at the time and after the very first full week of giving him the Chicken Soup dry food there was an enormous difference in Gerry. He seemed to have so much extra energy and pep in his step. His demeanor seemed to have so much life in it. Gerry is now 7 years old (people years), and he has been eating the Chicken Soup since the beginning and we have not looked back since. She agreed that Gerry was getting a good quality food since he has been acting so full of life and energy and happiness. The Chicken Soup is a little more then the Brands in the local stores, but just looking at Gerry and how happy he is and how much he looks forward to his meal times I know I am getting every penny's worth out of this quality food. Gerry is my best friend, and I would do anything to keep him safe and healthy, and I feel I am doing just that every time I feed him. … more

  • Finally a food my dogs will eat!

    By on

I have 2 Golden Retrievers and one of them is a super picky eater. The older one (11.5 years old now) has gone through pretty much every food on the market. She even tried the raw food diet. Generally she will eat a new food for a few weeks and then after a few weeks she refuses to touch it. She won't eat at all for a few days, so I'll switch to a new food and the cycle begins again. This went for about 8 years, until I finally discovered this food. She has been eating this every day for 3.5 years, which is amazing. What's even better is that this food seems to be a healthy, good food, and the price is great. This is priced so much better than some of the super expensive foods she has turned I have 2 Golden Retrievers and one of them is a super picky eater. The fact that she is healthy at 11.5 years old is testament that this food is doing good things for her. I tried switching her to the senior version of this, but once she realized that our 3 year old boy was still getting this food she would leave her food untouched and eat his instead. Our 3 year old boy has only ever eaten this food, he's never tried another brand. I don't see any reason to feed him anything else. He likes this, and he's a very healthy 3 year old. I couldn't be more pleased with this food. I get this auto shipped from Chewy every month, which saves me even more money and is a huge convenience. No more last minute trips to the store because I forgot to buy dog food. No more lugging around a 30 pound bag of food. … more

  • Great size dog food for your larger dog!

    By on

My dog has been eating this dog food since he is a puppy and now that he is 2 years old he now gets Chicken soup for the Soul for larger dogs. He is about 70 lbs and had no problem changing from adult dog food to the larger breed.

  • Chicken Soup for the Soul Adult dog

Too early to determine whether it will result in a better coat for my 3 year old Brown Doberman. I will keep you posted after a few weeks of full strength Chicken soup as he just finished transitioning over.

  • Both my dogs love it.

One of my dogs has a sensitive stomach & one is a picky eater. Both problems are solved with this food. I recommend it to anyone that asks me. I also use the cat food from this company. The cats have never been healthier.

  • Good dog food for the price

    By on

I have a Great Dane and just switched from 5 star Taste of the Wild High Prairie to 4 star Chicken Soup for the Soul Large Breed Adult Dry Dog Food. Whether it's just as good for my dog's health in the long run, I have no idea and don't know how you can tell but my dog didn't miss a beat, didn't throw up or develop diarrhea, and I saved $20 a month!

  • My Lab loves this food...

    By on

Outstanding ingredients list that seems to be superior to most other dog foods at this price point. My Lab Beau loves this food and actually looks forward to meal times since we switched. Would definitely recommend to others who want the best for their fur babies!
