Rated 4 out of 5 by from The dogs really like it I bought the latest coolaroo for my brother's collie after having bought two for my own, aging dogs. The coolaroo gets them off the floor making it easier for them to get up and down without straining hips. The collie came to the family with a history that included a broken leg. Now that he's getting older it's hard for him to get off the floor. The little bit of height the coolaroo provides is just enough. The mesh design keeps them cool when it's hot. In the winter we layer a memory foam pad over the coolaroo for extra comfort and warmth. The four stars come from assembly issues. When it's new it's a pain to put together because the mesh is so tight. As it ages, the mesh loosens and so do the screws. It requires a little maintenance now and again so it doesn't fall apart. Also, the plastic on the feet degrades and it has scratched my wood floors. Looking for caps for the feet to prevent that. For the price, the coolaroo is well worth it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My pets continue to love them after 7 years I've been using these for my dogs for about 7 years now. I've only had to replace the actual bed/frame once for both beds. My 11 year old, 95 pound German Shepherd loved his! My 6 year old 85 pound lab/pointer loves his. Now my 6 month old Golden Retriever loves it too. I have size large beds. They hold up extremely well. I keep them in the back yard. Very easy to clean, just hose off. They've ran and jumped onto them and they are still holding up. They're light too. Pretty easy to assemble, takes about 15 minutes. The replacement cover is inexpensive too. I usually have to replace it every coupon years or so. I wait until there's a good size hole in the middle, or their butt's starts to fall through. My shepherd had bad hips (hip dysplasia w/surgery as a puppy), and he had no problem getting up or down on it. I highly recommend this product for any dog. Beats them laying on the ground.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Coolaroo Pet Bed I bought this bed for my friends outside dog, I wanted to get her up off the floor and she loves it! She is a chewer, but she did not try and mess up her bed at all! It is just as good as the K&H elevated pet beds just at a much better price!!! I bought the medium size, she is a regular sized pit-bull/shepherd breed and it leaves her plenty of room after she gets situated and comfortable. It is also pretty easy to put together, I would definitely recommend this product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dogs, Cats, and I Love It I've been wanting raised beds for the pets for some time. This large Coolaroo seemed to fit the bill, both for size and price, so I bought just the one so that the pets and I could check it out. Well, all of us (human, dogs, cats) love it. Only problem is that I sometimes trip over a leg, but that's my problem. I do have a couple of blankets on it for softness. I plan to purchase a couple more this summer for the deck. The instructions are sketchy, but it's pretty obvious what goes where. However, when you get to the end and are trying to get that last pole way, the fabric was just too taut. Instructions say that you'll need help, but I hate to always run to the neighbors, so looked for youtube suggestions. Lo and behold, a video showed how easy it was to insert the offending pole if you just hold the bed vertically and step on the opposing pole (you probably have to do this to understand). Anyhow, easily as pie I was able to fit it in, all by my lonesome. The fabric seems sturdy, though it is stiff (hence, the blankets), so I'll eventually put elastic around each blanket to keep in place on the bed. Fabric is guaranteed for five years; and you can buy replacements, too. I and critters are very happy with this bed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not worth the money Not recommended- extremely difficult to put together. Doesn't last. This is the fourth bed we've had and all of the netting wears out way to quickly. It takes at least two people to put it together and the screw almost always "strip" and realign themselves. Once they are stripped they don't go in correctly and the bed becomes useless.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product, resonably priced and made in the USA! I have had two of these beds for years and they have absolutely withstood the test of time and owe me nothing. The dogs love them. Ours are house dogs but in the summer, they sometimes hang out in a kennel. These beds are great because they get the dogs up off the floor and because the fabric allows for air flow, the dogs remain comfortable and cool. We also have a Coolaroo cover that shades them when they are in the kennel. This fabric is wonderful and sturdy. The only challenge some folks may have is putting it together. I've done it several times by myself and the key is once you have one long side in place (do not completely tighten the nuts), jam it up against a flat wall with your foot to secure the other side, then tighten it all down.
