Rated 2 out of 5 by Daisy220 Assembly is tough
We almost sent this back because it took us 4 hours to get it together. I think it might have been a factory defect with the cover being sewed too small to get the tubing to align correctly so we could get the screws in. The fabric was so tight, it restricted the tubing from aligning correctly even with too hefty people pulling on it. Finally, we took a hair drier to the fabric so that it would stretch enough to get the screws in but then it lay cockeyed with one corner up in the air. I went back at it with the hairdryer to get it to sit flat on the floor. FINALLY SUCCESS. We got this one for inside the house so our dog would be high enough to look out the window. We have the other kind with the plastic corners (more expensive) outside for her and it was no trouble to put together but the fabric is not as durable.

by TeamJeterK9SAR Pooch Loves It!
The bed was delivered in two days, it took five minutes to assemble (only phillips required), and the pooch kept trying to lay on it while I was assembling it (pretty funny). As soon as I was done putting it together, Jeter, my one year old, 80 lbs GSD plopped down right on it. He loves it. Frame seems structurally sound, and fabric seems strong, taught and breathable...jury is out on how it will hold up.

Keeps my dog dry when the pavers are damp, elevates so she is cooler in the summer as long as the bed is not in the sun. The fabric retains heat in direct sun so I suggest placing in a shaded area on hot sunny days. We live in the south and have 100 degree days. I think our dog will enjoy it just as much in the fall/winter when we can place it in direct sun. It is light weight which is a good thing but should be moved in when the wind is high just like light lounge chairs. Our dog approves of it so I would recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Kelly My 10 year old goldendoodle, Hershey, loves his bed!
For years my 65 pound goldendoodle would jump up on an oversized ottoman to take his naps. I had noticed the older he got the more grumbles and grunts happening. So, I decided to do something about it. I went on Chewy.com and found this bed. Once the bed arrived, my husband and I put it together in 5 minutes and it was easy to do. Hershey loves his new bed!

After the gymnastics of assembling this bed, we couldn't get either of our two dogs to lay or sit on it. We tried offering treats and each of us sprawling across it to coax them up, but no go. Also tried stuffing a dog bed underneath to reduce the bounce they seemed to avoid, but that didn't work either. Gave it to a neighbor for her dog, but she brought it back with the same issue. Nice bed, well-constructed, but finally donated it to a local charity thrift shop.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Nnanci325 Great option
I purchased it for my 45 lbs boxer, relatively easy to put together needed to stretch it out but oterwise less than 15mnt. The bed is sturdy, she loves it and took to it right away.

This is our second purchase of this product and the first one is at least 10 years old. It stays in the elements all year long and is great to keep our pup off the ground away from insects and out of our mulch when we're outside in the yard.
