  • AMAZING FOOD

    By on

I have bought every food imaginable for my two picky boxers... and this is the first one I can say amazes me. We have been feeding it for about a year. They went from being lanky thin dogs to thick shiny beautiful dogs! And they LOVE it! I would highly recommend this food if you are trying to put weight on your active dogs!

  • Dog and poop-scooper friendly

    By on

Our Australian Shepherd and Kelpie love this food. It was difficult to find one that they both liked; with less smelly poop, which makes me happy! We are starting our puppy on the Dogswell Puppy Food in order to make an easy transition to adult food when the time comes.

  • Puppy Loves It

    By on

I originally found this at 3AM in a small shop, on my way to pick up my new puppy. Real meat and grain free. She loved it, and has grown up on it. Yet when I couldn't find it anywhere locally, Chewy had it & delivered! My dog isn't picky, but she does love her Nutrisca kibble. And because of the ingredients list, I feel like I'm doing right by the small, fuzzy member of the family. Her coat is also super soft, her teeth are clean, she's energetic, and her digestion handles this with ease. I'd recommend it!

  • Good alternative to Orijen IMO

    By on

After Chewy stopped carrying Orijen I decided to look for alternatives. This food has great reviews on the dog food advisor website, and has the perk of being a lot cheaper. Plus, manufactured in the USA! My dog transitioned well to it and enjoys it.

  • Not recomended

I bought this for my dachshund. He refused to eat it. I could not get him to events it. If I put it in his dish it would sit all day untouched. I would not recommend it. I threw it away.

  • Yeast problem

    By on

My poor Great Dane has horrible allergies and yeast issues. We have tried it all steroid shots, daily antihistamines, expensive allergy shots, vinegar baths and prescription food. You name it and we've tried it. My vet bill is unreal. Finally switched him to grain and potatoe free nutrisca about 7 months ago. Nutrisca along with the daily antihistamines and he is like a new dog! He doesn't smell like "corn chips" anymore (this is a side effect of yeast issues). The constant scratching has went down about 90%. There are only a few retailers that sale nutrisca and chewy has it the cheapest. Plus the free shipping on reoccurring orders is a bonus.

  • Nutrisca is nutritionally sound

    By on

I am a Vet Tech and I highly recommend Nutrisca Chicken & Chickpea dry food. I have been feeding my dog Nutrisca for many years and he loves it. I add some steamed broccoli and green beans and a tsp of plain Greek yogurt and his stool is consistently formed and I constantly get comments on how soft and beautiful his coat is. The price is very reasonable.

  • Great for dogs with food allergies!

    By on

This was the only food we could find to feed our dog whose food allergies just changed again (every 6 months). Apparently there is a prescription dog food but it is impossible to find and more than 2x as expensive. This is the 2nd time Nutrisca has saved our bacon. Nearly 2 years ago this was the only dry dog food (salmon & chickpea) she could eat until she became allergic to salmon! Thankfully both dogs really like the food, especially our picky eater.

  • Picky Collie Loves It!

    By on

We have a Rough Collie puppy that can be a picky eater. We did not want it to turn into a thing so researched early on what other Collie owners were feeding their dogs. Collies also have a tendency for allergies, and itchy skin so a quality food source was very important to us. Nutrisca kept getting mentioned and we decided to check it out. He loved it and has zero allergy problems and no itchy skin. We like that Nutrisca gives choices in protein as we found some owners dogs developed a sensitivity to chicken. The ability to switch to lamb or salmon if our baby ever has that problem is great. Actually, we tend to mix the chicken and lamb recipes and he loves that.
