  • Love this product

My Lulu is diabetic and needed a dog food without the potatoes and other starch filler with high protein content. We went through a few choices but no good results. Always sugars off the chart. Once we tried Nutrisca her sugars started to go back to normal and Vet very pleased. It cost a little more then the others but well worth it.

  • Our dog loves it!

We purchased this specifically because it has high protein and calories as our vet recommended for our dog right now while he heals from a skin condition. We purchased a bag of the Lamb and a bag of the Fish and mixed them together to give our dog the fish oils/Omegas he also needs without having to purchase another supplement. I love that the proteins are from a variety of meats and that they are grain free and not full of fillers! I would have scored it higher but, as I said, we had to mix two kinds to get exactly what we needed for our dog.

Two dogs with loose stool. This food made their stool normal again with no issues of indigestion or gas.

What more can I say? I have 5 westie terriers and I try to rotate their food choices daily. They accepted this Lamb and Chickpea blend very easily. I have also served the Salmon and Chickpea blend which they also like but I served it too much and they got bored with it.

  • Best food ever

Everything about this food is great. From the great, nutritious ingredients to the small sized kibble. Our dog loves the taste, it digests easily and comes out as perfectly formed poops. Yay Nutrisca!

  • Disappointing Ingredients

Why does a Lamb and Chickpea recipe contain chicken fat? If I realized this before I purchased this food, I would not have made the purchase. My dog has issues with poultry.

  • If Your Dog is Allergic to Everything...

I have a 13 year old chihuahua that seems to be allergic to everything. Since the time we rescued him his allergies have been a roller coaster. We have good days and then most recently he took a turn for the worst. One day, seemingly out of nowhere he broke out in horrible hives. His skin was angry, red and he began to lose his hair. Immediately I removed all typical allergens from his current diet and switched his protein source. (He was previously on a food that contained turkey and potatoes.) Finding a food with a different starch was a process, but this is why I was drawn to Nutrisca. I bought this version to try out (since it was slightly cheaper at the time) and see if there was any change I have a 13 year old chihuahua that seems to be allergic to everything. I'm glad I did as his skin is noticeably less irritated and his hair is growing back in spots. I changed my auto-ship to the salmon version which we will switch him to next. But, so far, so good, and I have high hopes for the salmon. … more
