What more can I say? I have 5 westie terriers and I try to rotate their food choices daily. They accepted this Lamb and Chickpea blend very easily. I have also served the Salmon and Chickpea blend which they also like but I served it too much and they got bored with it.

My st.bernard mix has had yeast infections in her ears for months off and on and it finally clearing up on this food!! We are so thankful for this product! I took a chance on it after reading other successful reviews about helping with skin allergies.

  • Disappointing Ingredients

Why does a Lamb and Chickpea recipe contain chicken fat? If I realized this before I purchased this food, I would not have made the purchase. My dog has issues with poultry.

  • Best food ever

Everything about this food is great. From the great, nutritious ingredients to the small sized kibble. Our dog loves the taste, it digests easily and comes out as perfectly formed poops. Yay Nutrisca!

  • If Your Dog is Allergic to Everything...

I have a 13 year old chihuahua that seems to be allergic to everything. Since the time we rescued him his allergies have been a roller coaster. We have good days and then most recently he took a turn for the worst. One day, seemingly out of nowhere he broke out in horrible hives. His skin was angry, red and he began to lose his hair. Immediately I removed all typical allergens from his current diet and switched his protein source. (He was previously on a food that contained turkey and potatoes.) Finding a food with a different starch was a process, but this is why I was drawn to Nutrisca. I bought this version to try out (since it was slightly cheaper at the time) and see if there was any change I have a 13 year old chihuahua that seems to be allergic to everything. I'm glad I did as his skin is noticeably less irritated and his hair is growing back in spots. I changed my auto-ship to the salmon version which we will switch him to next. But, so far, so good, and I have high hopes for the salmon. … more

  • Great Ingredients

My dog Penny has several allergies including grass, trees and more. I was paying a high price for specialty food from the Veterinarians office when a friend told me about Nutrisca and Chewy.com. I was a bit skeptical but was hoping to find something at a better price point. Penny has now been on Nutrisca for about 6 months with no reactions showing up. She enjoys the food and eats without prompting (which we had to do with the more expensive food). Thank you

  • Made dogs gassy

    By on

The ingredients looked great and all the reviews were good so I thought I'd try this food for my pits. This food made my dogs very gassy and they both had MASSIVE volumes of stool. Also one of my dogs seemed pretty lethargic but at the same time his usually inflamed feet and ears are doing better is why I gave it a 2. My other dogs ears were full of goop, no eye goobers though either which they sometimes got on blue buffalo. Going to try something different. They were on blue buffalo basics before and they were pretty good on it but wanted something with more protein and something slightly cheaper. Not gassy and small stools on blue buffalo FYI. Going to try Victors and see how they react.

  • Best Quality

    By on

My min pins love this food. I have used all the favors of this brand and never once my dogs acted like they didn't like it. It is a little more expensive than some other brands, but well worth the price for a quality food. Chewy.com has been wonderful and always the next day delivery after I say ship it. It is a great company.
