Rated 4 out of 5 by good ingredients!!!! trying to find a new good quality food for my dog. she has chicken allergies and i also feed her grain free food. this food met that criteria- also uses sunflower oil instead of canola- a bonus. The kibble is small sized- which I also like as my pup is only 32#. The first ingredient is salmon- another plus. to be honest my pup didn't LOVE this food- but she eats it. you know when you get a new bag of food and they scarf it down in minutes? that didn't happen. shes been eating it with a few additions to it or simply when shes just plain hungry. i dont consider this a reason for a bad review or a loss because just like humans some dogs don't PREFER some foods. also she WILL eat it. kudos to the company for their ingredients. maybe i will try another flavor. Rated 5 out of 5 by Great for sensitive bellies We started transitioning our dog to Nutrisca about a month ago, and he is a completely different dog. He had an ACL surgery last year, so we're not sure if his turnaround is entirely due to the food or the combination of the food and the healing, but he is 8 years old and acting like a puppy again. He's playing and running around with his sister, and (sorry, have to go here) his poops have been more solid than we've seen in so long. He loves the food, and I am SO happpy we continued trying to find something that would be good for him. I really think we've found it with Nutrisca. July 22, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Vet recommended dog food Been using this for several years after vet recommended it because of my dog's badly itchy skin. His itchiness disappeared within a month. And he never eats any food except this & the canned version of same. July 28, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Nutrisca, terrific dog food My dogs have been on a Nutrisca dry and canned diet for several years. I like the ingredients very much. No canola oil, no grain, no potato...just extra good nourishment. Check out the label. My "kids" have lots of energy (Smooth Fox Terriers) and their coats are excellent. Couldn't ask for a better commercial food. AND ordering from is the BEST. June 26, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by This Dog Food saved our dogs life! Our Poodle mix was diagnosed with diabetes a year ago. We tried everything( 4 different insulins and many different foods) to keep his numbers stable and to keep weight on him. Nothing was working. I was at a point where I was cooking him chicken. The problem was he wasn't keeping the weight on. One day I was in the grocery store and spotted Nutrisca on the shelf. I don't know what brought me to it. But I am sure glad I found it. Our little guy has been on it for about a month and a half and his numbers are stable and he has gained almost 2 pounds. We feed him the salmon canned stew and the salmon dry. I have been raving about it to everyone. My Vet also has a brittle diabetic dog and she has started hers on Nutrisa also. His numbers have come down also. I highly recommend this product. It is low glycemic. No grain,no potato. The first 6 ingredients are real food. I love that!!!!! Thank you Nutrisca!!!! I really beleive you saved our best friends life :) November 11, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Easy switch over for this high quality dog kibble My 2 pups where on a grain free kibble with too much pea fiber, pea flour ingredients so I decided to switch to Nutrisca products. My 2 pups that are 85 pounds & 90 Pounds love the food and no problem switching them over from one high quality kibble to another within a week with no stomach issues. No more hot spots on my Labrador and much less licking and scratching going on for both dogs. I give Nutrisca Grain Free Salmon & Chickpea recipe 2 thumbs up!! June 3, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Dog Food! My pup had to go to a dog allergist due to scratching his back end and belly raw. This was one of the food recommended he could transition to once we cleared him up on a special fish and veggie diet. This is good stuff and has made our dogs healthier, their coat looks better too! Rated 5 out of 5 by my sensitive skin dog is now a happy camper! I have an 8 year old wire hair fox terrier with very sensitive skin with a tendency to have yeast problems (he smelled like bread rising). He had bitten his skin raw from the itching! After a few days on this food he stopped biting himself and his hair began growing back!!! Also his disposition has greatly improved since he's not in agony 24/7. Found out he had to avoid feeding the yeast -sugar and grains, INCLUDING OATS! And anything with yeast. His old food was a vet formula for dogs with sensitive skin, but its first ingredient was oats. And I had been giving him a vitamin formula with nutritional yeast. Stopped them both. May 10, 2016
