My older cat had feline dermatitis and was really being bothered even after a visit to the vet. I've been putting this on her every few days and her fur is growing back, the hot spots are healing and she is much calmer. It also doesn't bother he if she licks on it! I highly recommend it!

by ShibaMom2006 No Healing Properties Noticed
As a natural family with an organic lifestyle, I thought this product would work on my dog and be more convenient than making it myself. My Shiba Inu develops granulomas on her paws from excessive licking and I thought could get rid of them. When I first opened the product I noticed that it wasn't exactly a "cream". It's almost like it has too much shea butter and made it too hard. When I rub my fingers on it to apply it to my dog's paws, it comes out in clumps. I thought it was due to being shipped in the winter but the product has not softened. Not only is the product hard to use, but I don't notice and healing. When my dog doesn't lick the product off right away, I actually notice her granulomas to get irritated. This product might be better if warmed over a double broiler or something but right of the container it's useless.

This works wonderful for minor cuts and itchiness. The consistency is a little hard at first to get, but applies smoothly to my dog. It definitely stopped the itching, and the smell is great. His wounds are minor cuts heal within about a couple of days and I noticed that his fur is growing back within 2 weeks of use. A work in progress but the time is worth it.

I have no idea if this product works or not. you cant apply it to sore or sensitive skin or tissue, its too hard. The consistency makes it impossible to apply it to the type of application its supposed to be designed for. It has the consistency of hard wax. USELESS.

As mentioned previously this product is lumpy and a little hard to apply. Add that to the fact that both of my dogs seem to favor the taste and it becomes more of a hassle thsn a blessing. I have noticed some improvements where my older girl who is allergic to the world and much in it where she cannot lick it off..it seems to help. Not thrilled...

This makes me feel good to have on hand. I like that it's organic and natural so if he licks it he won't get sick. I think it's nice for minor cuts and scrapes but honestly, it smells and probably tastes like chicken. My greyhound who would not eat your sandwich if you left it next to his bed caught this container and licked it like crazy. When I put it on him I have to distract him so he won't lick it off. It has too much of a meaty smell if you ask me. I wonder if it works but maybe it's more like neosporn.

We ALWAYS have some of Dr. Harvey's healing cream on hand for minor irritations, cuts and bug bites. It greatly helps healing, stops the itch and soothes the pups. Good stuff that even us humans use now and again. Smells great too.

Rated 4 out of 5 by ABuxton Great for Sores or Wounds
This cream works great on my cat's sores and wounds but not so great on hot spots. When I put it on one of his sores, it will be gone in the morning so awesome results there. It is not so effective on hot spots. Tried it several times on his hot spots and I never saw any positive results. While the description says it is a cream, it is actually a wax or balm. I would dig a good finger of it out and warm it up by rubbing it between my fingers before putting on him. In all great product!
