Rated 1 out of 5 by Jms123 Stopped Feeding My Dog This Food
I been feeding both my dogs this brand for the past 2 years. I was very happy because at the beginning it helped clear out their bad allergies. However the past few months I started to change within all the flavors because after a while they would stop eating the food. I called the company and they said they didn't change anything. This all happened with all earthborn flavor: one of my dogs tummy was making a gurgling sound after he ate, both dogs would throw up every so often, and sometimes his stool would be loose. I didn't think it was the food because there allergies was 95% better. However my mom told me that she thinks its the food so I decided to change the food and WALLA she was right. I feel like a bad dog owner for making my dogs go through this.
If your dog is doing well I am glad, but if your dog has these symptoms change your dogs food its the FOOD!

I have a Beagle that is a finicky eater, every visit to the Vets, usually ends up with a new weight loss plan for him. He also suffers with Skin allergies that leave him with many balding patches.
I have now introduced him to Earthborn and although it took him a couple of days to give it a shot, he is now eating this normally. I am excited after reading other comments about healthy weight and clearing of skin conditions. Love the small bites as he seems to enjoy them. I have tried so many different foods, and have my fingers crossed that this is the one. Love the delivery from home certainly makes getting their food easier.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Sandi11 NO MORE EARTHBORN
I have been feeding my two Dobermans Earthborn for a while and noticed in the last year that their stools had become more frequent and loose meaning the food had changed and no longer was a good food for them so I have switched and now they are back to normal.

I switched my dog over to this within a week with no issues. He liked the taste and had no upset stomach because of the switch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ranchoelcentro This food is working great for all three of our dogs that are different breeds and ages.
Our oldest dog Jax is a 16 year old Jack Russel mix who had a hard life before we adopted him two years ago. He needed extensive dental care and had to have 20 teeth removed, luckily most of his back teeth are remaining and he can manage the small kibble (which he prefers over wet food). He needed a special diet because of health issues that were most likely caused by his dental problems. This kibble is treating him just fine and his health has improved.
Loosie is a 15 year old Jack Russell who was allergic to everything. Environmental, fleas, food, whatever. She started to become incontinent when she was relaxed or sleeping. There was not evidence of a UTI, or liver problems. Now that she has been on this dog food for a while, the incontinence is almost completely gone, and I feel like we've conquered her food allergy. For the first time, she is not itchy and her coat is shiny and full.
Bear is a 5 year old Chihuahua, Min Pin, Boston Terrier mix. He can eat petty much anything, but he is just plain picky. He likes this food and it treats him well. He prefers it over a raw diet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by boxerlove My dogs transitioned beautifully
I change my dogs food every 3 or so months to give them other protene sorces, so they benefit from different aspects of high quality foods. I did the big no no and didn't transition them from the old food to this one. To my surprise, they have done very well. My boxers stomachs are super sensitive, but I ran out of the old food and just put them right on this. We haven't had any direah, or loose stools. It's been great. They both love this food as well. The kibble is very small, which is fantastic for us because one of my dogs is a senior guy and kibble can be tough for him to eat. This food is an A+ for us

by EyesToSeeWith WOW!!! Dogs have staining and allergies?? Please Read
Here's my 3 month review for both dogs. I have two dogs, Lhasa Apso and Silky Terrier.
In the morning they get some dry food warmed with some water in the morning (water and heated they eat their food easily; dry alone they will walk away and nipple here and there).
In the evening they get dry mixed with Earthborn Pepper beef wet food and water and warmed. They almost always eat it. Occasionally they seems less excited, so now that it's been three months and I know they are stable on this food I'm going to try another Earthborn wet flavor to alternate with the beef to give them some variety.
Silky (9 yrs old): Sometimes Oliver can be picky about his food. He has absolutely refused to eat before, not this food. Especially the first couple months. I could tell he was happy for the new food. Occasionally he get a little gassy, but far less than he's had on other food. Overall, he's doing well.
Lhasa (8 yrs old): Elliott's improvement has been AMAZING!!!! As he's aged he's developed bad allergies. For quite some time we were calling him stinky face because he was constantly tearing, bad brown stains (even right after grooming) ears would smell. Lots of scratching and licking. He really seemed miserable. Vet put him on different diets, nothing seemed to help. Even recommended that take him to a vet dermatologist to address his allergies. He would get red patches that would form yellow flaky yeast. Just horrible. I started him on weekly allergy injections a little over a year ago. Vet said Elliott would likely be on them for 3-5 years. So as I continue to allow his immunity build I really started researching a good food. Because it's really hard to know what is causing his allergic reactions. Boy I'm so glad I found Earthborn. I just can't get over how great he looks and smells and how little he's itching. What a blessing!!
I hope this review help those looking to make their pup dogs happier and healthier. It doesn't work over night. I truly wanted to wait 3 months before I gave my review. Unless something changes, I will keep buying this food. Plus as a bonus I'm saving money because I haven't taken Elliott to the vet in the last few months. Huge!!! Felt like I was living there for a while
PS. A couple years ago, I removed grains from their diet. Which cut out a lot of treats. My guys really only get peanut butter with no sugar in a kong or bully sticks. Keep that in mind if your dog has allergies. Might not just be from their food, treats too.
PSS. Douxo Chlorhexidine PS Shampoo is also another product I fell in love with to help with Elliott's skin issues. Be very careful around the eyes. I would lather him up, wash Oliver, then rinse Elliott. It does need to sit for at least 5 mins. But boy, wouldn't live without this product now. I've been using this for about a year.
Finally...it's all coming together for my Elliott. Poor guy. Glad he's coming through. Best of luck!!
I tried to select pictures of Elliott right after he was groomed and when his hair is longer.
