Rated 5 out of 5 by all three of my rescue dogs love it! A friend of mine recommended this dog food because 2 of my 3 rescues were having high PH issues caused by too much protein, and one of those has wheat allergies! So...try to find a food that will help with these issues! I called the company, and we emailed back and forth as well, they were fantastic! They assured me the protein wasn't the entire issue but the BAD protein was. The Meadow Feast is lower in protein than the other flavors, and the QUALITY of the protein is higher than in other dog foods, which is most of the problem. They also have fruits and veggies in it. Granted, this is a LOT more expensive, but the $800 bladder stone removal was more! We don't want to do that again! so; until all three dogs have their protein levels checked in a few months, we're staying with this, because all of the vet recommended low protein foods have wheat and other grains, which create a whole new problem. One more thing....all 3 love it! ;) August 14, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by hopefully good for allergies We have an allergy dog who was doing well on his food until the other brand changed the formula adding cheap fillers like alfalfa and berries. Needless to say, he is breaking out again so back to researching new brands and came across this one. Trying this Earthborn brand now as it doesn't have alfalfa or potatoes and is a limited grain free food. So far so good but we are only on the first bag. He loves the flavor. Kibble is a little small as he is an inhaler so having to slow him down so he doesn't choke. Otherwise, seems to be a great food at a reasonable cost. Thanks Earthborn and Chewys. September 3, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Stopped Feeding My Dog This Food I been feeding both my dogs this brand for the past 2 years. I was very happy because at the beginning it helped clear out their bad allergies. However the past few months I started to change within all the flavors because after a while they would stop eating the food. I called the company and they said they didn't change anything. This all happened with all earthborn flavor: one of my dogs tummy was making a gurgling sound after he ate, both dogs would throw up every so often, and sometimes his stool would be loose. I didn't think it was the food because there allergies was 95% better. However my mom told me that she thinks its the food so I decided to change the food and WALLA she was right. I feel like a bad dog owner for making my dogs go through this. If your dog is doing well I am glad, but if your dog has these symptoms change your dogs food its the FOOD! June 11, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by To my dogs' taste Doggies eat it up with no digestive upsets yet. As long as this company continues to make high-quality food, I will continue to buy. August 19, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by This food is working great for all three of our dogs that are different breeds and ages. Our oldest dog Jax is a 16 year old Jack Russel mix who had a hard life before we adopted him two years ago. He needed extensive dental care and had to have 20 teeth removed, luckily most of his back teeth are remaining and he can manage the small kibble (which he prefers over wet food). He needed a special diet because of health issues that were most likely caused by his dental problems. This kibble is treating him just fine and his health has improved. Loosie is a 15 year old Jack Russell who was allergic to everything. Environmental, fleas, food, whatever. She started to become incontinent when she was relaxed or sleeping. There was not evidence of a UTI, or liver problems. Now that she has been on this dog food for a while, the incontinence is almost completely gone, and I feel like we've conquered her food allergy. For the first time, she is not itchy and her coat is shiny and full. Bear is a 5 year old Chihuahua, Min Pin, Boston Terrier mix. He can eat petty much anything, but he is just plain picky. He likes this food and it treats him well. He prefers it over a raw diet. April 29, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Finicky Eaters I have a Beagle that is a finicky eater, every visit to the Vets, usually ends up with a new weight loss plan for him. He also suffers with Skin allergies that leave him with many balding patches. I have now introduced him to Earthborn and although it took him a couple of days to give it a shot, he is now eating this normally. I am excited after reading other comments about healthy weight and clearing of skin conditions. Love the small bites as he seems to enjoy them. I have tried so many different foods, and have my fingers crossed that this is the one. Love the delivery from home certainly makes getting their food easier. July 15, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Quality food The ingredients in this food are wonderful. All of my dogs eat this without a problem. I have been using this brand for over a year as recommended by my breeder. August 8, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by NO MORE EARTHBORN I have been feeding my two Dobermans Earthborn for a while and noticed in the last year that their stools had become more frequent and loose meaning the food had changed and no longer was a good food for them so I have switched and now they are back to normal.
